so i dug her first album, i thought it had good jokes, then her second album i thought kinda had bad jokes, now this one comes out and i don't know if it's exactly comedy but after listening to this and watching her maria bamford show which some of this material is from it's like batpoop insane, like she is the most avant garde mofo alive. it seems like the descent into madness premise isn't that far from reality.

The people that wouldn't like this would be people who like Dane Cook, Carlos Mencia and any other hack mainstream comedian. Nothing matches the brilliance of Maria. She's insanely funny and the only comedian that I want to hear absolutely everything she has to say. I met Maria and she's wonderful in person. If you like Dane Cook, don't bother. Anyone else, just get it. You're getting two for the price of one.Free Music Review: my two cents

Brilliant, I say. Among the best comics ever and also one-of-a-kind. But you should check out YouTube clips to see if you get the humor, since not everyone does. The "Maria Bamford Show" won me over, try to watch it in order. Note that I haven't seen the actual product here in person, but bought it as a gift for close family members whom I knew would love it (they did).Free Music Review: Maria

Her set on this CD is solid, the content and delivery is great, and the bonus DVD in this set is more than worth it. If you haven't heard her yet you should definitely Youtube her name. Then pick up this CD/DVD set.Free Music Review: Lovely

The audio portion is fantastic. In addition, you get a DVD of her show from Superdeluxe (which makes this worth getting in and of itself).
