I have not even purchased this album YET and I can already tell that it is going to be another summer HIT! I loved MiMi three years ago and am glad to see Mariah exploring some other aspects of music. I personally thought all those sappy ballads were getting old (although the singing was still phenomenal). The true measure of a great artists is to be able to cross musical lines and do it well. Call it imitation or whatever you want, but as times change artists can change as well. Who knows, maybe Mariah knows herself much better than her critics and this may be who she is and what she wants to do, for now. If you don't like it...there's always Celine Deon. I just love her whole album, maybe the song I listen to the less is 'Side Effects' and 'I wish You Well' but this album is truly amazing, its like Emancipation part II! It's certainly fresh, her vocals sound as great as always, her lyrics and music are simply endearing, I love every single song in this album, especially 'I'll be lovin' u long time'. Mariah should do well with this album, she couldn't go wrong with it. Standouts:

i guess it's all about personal taste...if you have haters, then you must be doing something right! anyhow, here's my top picks off the album: migrate, touch my body, cruise control, i stay in love, i'll be loving you long time, i'm that chick and bye bye. i'm that chick has a sample of michael jackson's off the wall song and has a disco groove to it. again, don't let these 1 star reviews turn you off on the album, *and prob. the same losers going to each 5 star review and giving it one star* one thing about mariah, she puts out great music. and i think this album is very good, esp. i'm that chick and i'll be loving you long time.Free Music Review: E=MC2 =P-E-R-F-E-C-T!!!!!

What can i say people the one and only Mariah Carey has done it again! can this woman ever create something that ranks lower then P-E-R-F-E-C-T ? don't think so.... this album is Amazing from start to finish! 'Touch my Body' her first singer has already reached the top and became her 18th number 1 !!!!! broke Elvis's record!!! 3 more songs and she'll even brake the beatles record (of 20 songs) for most number 1's in HISTORY!!!! and believe me this album has more then enough to accomplish this! The voice is definitely back! The soft spoken voice she's been using in her past few CDs is still present, but her old powerful voice is there too. All the tracks are great, and the beats are unique. Mariah sounds like nobody else out there. You listen to artists, like Leona Lewis, and wonder "Who's that? Is it _______". Every time I hear a new track from her, I confuse her with someone else. This never happens with Mariah. This is an artist that truly deserves to be at the number one spot. She's got real talent, and produces original, beautiful music. This CD should be in every music lover's collection.
