I didn't think I could listen to anything other than TEOM, but this is really nice. I have to say that while JD and MC makes mad magic together, I really wish he would stop laughing and yelling "Yall know who this is" in every song. He kinda makes me sick. But then again, they are a wonderful team. The CD is "harder" than what I usually listen to, but it is a really great cd.

Free Music Review: A very interesting album with different music styles

I have been waiting a long time for Mariah to do an album like E=MC2, more mature and with music for everyone: some light hip-hop, reggae and disco flavored, adult contemporary, pop, ballad, and the R&B that she is known for. There are less "featuring..." songs unlike recent releases, so here you can really appreciate her vocals. All the songs work really well with Mariah's voice at this stage of her career.
I do not know if it has a become a tradition in recent Mariah albums and singles that producer JD has been part of, but he has to be present in the songs with his giggly voice saying "you know who/what this is", or doing echo to Mariah. Unfortunately this album is no the exception, although he is less noticeable. Fortunately some of my favorite songs like Touch My Body, I'm That Chick, For The Record are "feat/JD"-free.

OMG, what can I say? This album is SO AWESOME!!! Trust me, almost every song on this album, has the potential to be a single!
Mariah is at her best when singing Ballads. Beautiful Beautiful Ballads!!!
Between "Bye Bye, "I Stay In Love" I can't pick which is my favorite, both are incredibly beautiful beyond words to describe. Those two are my favorite songs from the album, but I tell you, the others are not far behind.
Then, there is also "For The Record" my 3rd favorite it's very beautiful and sure remind you of her old songs. ;)
"Love Story", "Last Kiss", "Thanx for Nothing" might sound alike (Both produced by Jermaine Durpi) to some people, but I think they sound different. They are still beautiful ballads, that remind you of "Circles", "Mine Again", "We Belong Together" from TEOM.
While not as standout as "Bye Bye", "I stay In love" and "For the Record", I still like them all very much!
Then there is "I'm that chick" the Disco-dance (Michael Jackson "off the wall") beat has to get you on dance floor.
"Loving you a longtime" is a Summer jam, that a lot of people will love!
Mariah is also pretty great at the Hip-hop/Rap genre, and it shows she is very good.
Migrate - What a Club Banger! It's gotta be a huge hit at the clubs!
Touch My Body - SO SEXY!
Side Effects - It's Dirty South hip-Hop beats with very emotional lyrics! The beat is great, Mariah's rap-singing vocals is Amazing!
OOC - You know Swizz Beat (Beyonce - Get me bodied) produced this. Listen for Mariah sing some French!
Cruise Control - LOL Mariah singing some Jamaican is just cool man this song is cool and relaxing, Reggae/Jamaican/Carribean style, I love it.
I wish you well - Old time Mariah fans will absolutely love this, it's just her and the Piano, really clasic/Beautiful to close out this HIT album!
So, YES I LOVE this album and I recommend it to all Pop/R&B/Hip-Hop fans. Is there a song I didn't like? NOT at all!
That's incredible, this album is totally BETTER than Emancipation of Mimi! Because on TEOM, a song or two I didn't like as much as songs from this album.
There is only one very Minor complaint/suggestion - Mariah, please more instruments and include a couple more Pop/Rock songs in the future! Hopefully, on her NEXT CD she go back to her 90s style more! :)
I feel strongly she is going to surpass Beatles #1 record without much doubt.
The ONLY thing is, can YOU admit you love the songs? Or, you won't admit you like it, even if you do, just because you don't want her to break Beatles record?
This is a Hot album, and Mariah knows it. She look so happy, confident, and her body is great!

Mariah IS and ALWAYS will be #1 to me, and she proves she is still the BEST in the business.
Please don't ask me what song is the worst on this album, I really can't say. "I'll be loving you a long time" is kinda annoying and enjoyable at the same time, but even that is a song that can be a huge hit, all the songs I think is a 9-10/10 score, with "I will be loving you a long time" maybe a 8.

Well, I can't believe that Mariah is on her 11th Studio Album (that's truly amazing). She has come a long way (been through a lot), but manages to stay on top. Now she's has her 18th #1 Single "Touch My Body", and that shows how much her fans love her (including me). So this Album is Highly Recommended onto you from a real fan ;)

Migrate (Club banger) w/T-Pain it gets not better, great collabo.
I'm That Chick (Great record) it's a feel good record for the ladies

Wow, this album is just amazing and one of her best albums. I think it's way better than MIMI.
1-)Migrate - One of the best songs on the album. This should be a single, my only complain is i think T-Pain's part is too long. 10/10
2-)Touch My Body - Her 18th number one, soft, sexy fun and catchy song. 10/10
3-) Cruise Control - To be honest, i didn't like this song at first but now i like it. Her Jamacian accent is so cool. 7/10
4-) I Stay In Love - Great Ballad, very good song. Her vocals are good on this one too. 8/10
5-) Side Effects - My favourite song on the album. The beat and lyrics are amazing. 10/10
6-) I'm That Chick - One of the best songs on the album, you just want to turn up the volume and dance, i like her "oh wee" vocals. 9.5/10
7-) Love Story - Well, it's a good song but not my favourite... 7/10
8-) I'll Be Loving You Love Time - Good pop song, catchy but it's avarage 6/10
9-) Last Kiss - Mariah's favourite song on the album. It gets better after listening to it few times. I like it. 9/10
10-) Thanx 4 Nothin' - I love the lyrics, beat is good too. 8/10
11-) O.O.C - Awesome! I just love it, very upbeat and danceable song! But "it's forever" parts can get annoying. 9.5/10
12-) For The Record - Chrous is amazing, and Mariah used her old songs name in the lyrics. 10/10
13-) Bye Bye - So emotional! I just wanna cry when i hear this. No need to say more. 10/10
14-) I Wish You Well - What a voice! And gospel style... 9/10
