<b>4 REMIXES:</b>
+ Dope hat [Diary Of A Dope Fiend] - A slow, eerie mix. Regarded as a different song, since a single word (monkey/chicken) is different. It sounds so dissimilar, you'd probably think so too.
+ Organ Grinder [Kiddie Grinder] - An intense, thrashing and throbbing tune, but quite noticably a remix. But still a good one. This one sounds like a psychotic chemical binge, laid over the original track. They're both the same legnth, too.
+ Cake & Sodomy [Everlasting C---sucker] - Slow, simple, and not very far from the original version. This one, though, offers a much heavier, industrial approach.
+ Dope Hat [Dance Of The Dope Hats] - Like Kiddie Grinder, this sounds very similar to the original track, but with more thrust, more power, more oomph.

<b>3 COVERS:</b>
+ Rock 'N' Roll Nigger (Patti Smith cover) - I love this song. I've briefly heard Smith's version, and they sound very similar, but this is DEFINATELY Marilyn Manson. You can virtually hear the evolution from POAAF (the first album) the Antichrist Superstar (the followup to this EP).
+ I Put A Spell On You (Screamin' Jay Hawkins) - This deserves it's own single. It's powerful, exciting, and the simple lyrics make it great to scream (i mean, "sing") along with.
+ Sweet Dream (Eurythmics) - The EP's only single, and one of the band's best known tracks. I shouldn't need to say anything; if you haven't already heard this... It's an ok track, but you'll become frustrated and bored of the monotonous thumping beat and primitive, repetitive lyrics. Still, a good track to scream along to, and the guitars are simply delicious.

<b>INSTRUMENTALS/OTHER STUFF</b>
+ The Hands Of Small Children - An strange, spooky sounding tune that serves as an excellent introduction to "Diary Of A Dope Fiend".
+ S**y Chicken G**g B**g - A short interlude connection tracks 2 and 4. If it weren't so short, it'd drive you insane, but just as you're about to hit the 'next track' button, the song disintergrates into the explosive Kiddie Grinder.
+ Sympathy for the Parents - An excerpt from a tv interview, with Twiggy playing with his tape recorder. Offers Marilyn Manson newcomers an insight to the voice of the group's vocalist, which is pleasant.
+ F*** Frankie - I'm never sure wether to be turned on, or appalled. An insight to the goings on of the group, way back "then".
+ May Cause... - This 4 minute track serves as another interlude, necessary for the entry to the next track. Boring after nmany listens, but it works well.
+ Scabs, Guns and Peanut Butter - A track by Twiggy (guitar), sped up. Satisfyingly short, and a personal favourite, but can't really be considered a real song.
+ WHITE TRASH - Vaguely similar to 'Cake And Sodomy', filled with frustrating "BEEP"s filtering the "bad words". A funny, acoustic song by Tony F. Wiggins, and another personal favourite. This is the first acoustic song to come out of this band. No doubt, you'll find yourself singing this soon on the bus, walking through the park, or even while making love to your one truly; it's that damn catchy.
+ Dancing With The One-Legged... - More of that interview; you can't help but chuckle at the poor woman's harrassed vocals. A brilliant introduction to 'Rock 'N' Roll Nigger'.
+ Bonus Track - First, an alternate version of S**y Chicken by the drummer/keyboardist, Madonna Wayne Gacy (aka Pogo), which is quirky at first, but you'll probably skip it before the end. Following this, after minute of silence, is what sounds like hideous screamings and is quite unsettling. This (second bonus track?) is actually a backwards, sped-up version of the vocals for 'I Put A Spell On You', with a heavy eachoing vocal effect.

So, that's 4 good remixes, 3 brilliant cover songs, and a vast blend of freaky odds-and-ends that buff up this EP well. A peculiar addition to anybody's music collection, but still a CD to be proud of. Consider, the group could have simply put out a 7-track EP to cover the remixes & cover songs, but decided to push the content of this CD vastly, and for that reason, i award FIVE STARS. (...).
