Free Music Review: Very Good "New Manson" album
Hit: 5 Stars

After the first listen through I will admit I was a little disappointed. There was nothing shocking and nothing that rocked my world.
HOWEVER after listening a few more times I have really come to LOVE this album. It's very bluesy and melodic and just about every track is excellent. Yes there are a couple (WOW) that seem a little on the lower end of Manson songs, but overall this is such a great album.
I would call this Manson a combination of EMDM and his "harder" stuff. No this isn't Mechanical, but really do we want our artists to just rehash the exact same sound and tone throughout their entire careers? I think not!
If you have only listened once give it another shot or two and really get a feel for this album, it's well worth it...

Free Music Review: The High End Of Low
Hit: 5 Stars

I didn't really like Marilyn Manson's last cd Eat Me Drink Me. I hardly even listened to it at all. When The High End Of Low came out I thought it was just going to be just as bad. When I listened to it I was blown away. After Twiggy left it seemed that Marilyn Manson's music went downhill, now that Twiggy is back the music is better than ever, but I can't say that this is Marilyn Manson's best cd to date. The song Running To The Edge Of The World is the most emotional song Marilyn Manson has even done. The album title says it all, because it's The High End Of Low.
My favorite songs on The High End Of Low are:
1. Devour
2. Pretty As A (S)
3. Leave A Scar
4. Running To The Edge Of The World
5. Unkillable Monster

Free Music Review: Putting the "man" in Man That You fear
Hit: 5 Stars

When I first heard this album I was taken back by it's bass instrumentals, and it's biting emotion. I'm not much of a "rocker", but I appreciate the value of Marilyn Manson's music. After I really sat down, and happened to have an unsuspecting mind, I pushed the play button and was blown away. This album, despite it's bitter exterior, is the Antichrist Superstar stepping down from his podium. In this event, he opens p to his listeners about his humanity, the scars left by his career and his loved ones. So if you appreciate a good poem, or a sad movie, than I would seriously consider buying this album.

Free Music Review: get off of it
Hit: 5 Stars

i think that for everyone who is always expecting the same thing from someone who has made lots of great music to be open to new music from that person. with that said this new marilyn manson album is one of the best albums to come out in a long while. this is possibly some of his greatest works yet this albume has a very live gritty raw feel to it and the songs are all pretty much good. i like the new direction of mr.manson and have been a huge fan of his since almost the begining so do your self a favor and get this album its really really good. thanks-

Free Music Review: Outstanding!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Well, this cd is certainly in his top three. It is musically diverse in ways that MM fans have been looking for. The lyrics are certainly dark and abstract. Twiggy is back and he adds that heavy melodic bass that is welcomed with open arms. This album lacks a bit of speed, but makes up with an all around Danzig style of slow death. Not a bad cd at all. Marilyn is almost back to his Antichrist form. The real question is, as an artist, has he morphed passed that stage forever or will we ever hear from him again if we love our Guns, God, and Government?
