Free Music Notes for The High End of Low

Free Music Review: the geezer still gots it
Hit: 5 Stars

I enjoyed this album quite alot. Its not as agressively psychotic as earlier efforts, but its still decent music and I for one appreciate that. Ill just point out that 40 is not actualy that old. MM has half his life left probably. Why should a supremely talented and highly skilled musician be considered washed up at such a young age? What if Beethoven quit at 40? No ninth symphony. MM is still capable of tremendous work and should be considered a national treasure along the lines of a hemingway or walt whitman.

Free Music Review: Best Album Since Mechanical Animals
Hit: 5 Stars

As a long term Marilyn Manson fan, I am stunned by this album. I'll spare you a blow-by-blow critique of each song, since I hate it when others do that and individual song preference will vary. Suffice it to say, this is Manson's best album since Mechanical Animals, and a very successful reunion between Manson and Twiggy. Like every Manson album, this one is different from all of his previous works. However, fans who particularly love his older works will probably appreciate the High End of the Low a lot.

Free Music Review: Excellent
Hit: 5 Stars

This was an excellent record. Really enjoyable as a casual listener or a dedicated Marilyn Manson fan. Although it did not have the commercial success most Manson records have brought it still stands out as one of Manson's best. With beautiful Power Ballads like "Running to The Edge of The World"(Which could have been extremely successful had it been promoted accurately) to the fast thumping "Arma-God-damn-Motherf**kin'-Geddon" it truly is a remarkable record. I recommend it to all.

Free Music Review: GREAT GREAT CD
Hit: 5 Stars

The only way to descibe this is Marilyn at his very best but not as hard as his other stuff!! But very very good. One of my favorite songs is, I want to kill you like they do in the movies. This is one of those releases were the first listen is like well this is not what I expected but after the 3rd listen you get it!! There is not a bad song on this cd!! It gets five stars from me because I keep coming back to this even after listening to this about 30 times!!!!

Free Music Review: I can't stop listening to it.
Hit: 5 Stars

The new album is great. I have been listening to Manson for years and haven't been disappointed yet. He is a true artist. The way the album begins is perfect with "Devour", which I think might be my favorite song on the whole album. The song sets the mood for the rest of the album perfectly I think. All the songs get stuck in my head and I've listened to the album nonstop since I bought it.I would recommend it to any Manson fan.
