Free Music Notes for Mario Lanza Live At The Hollywood Bowl: Historical Recordings (1947 & 1951) AlbumFree Music Review: A shadow of greatness Hit: 4 Stars
This CD can only hint at the greatness that was Mario Lanza. But I agree with some of the other reviewers. The opera on it is as close as you will ever come to glimpsing a truly extraordinary voice....a once in a lifetime voice. Show biz robbed him of his place in the firmament.
