The mellow, sparkling and insightful Mark Knoppfler I've loved for years has taken a wrong turn inward with this album. Maybe too subtle for me, but I found the music after one listen to the among the most uninspiring, depressing and boring of any music I've actually paid for in years. I love Mark Knopfler,especially his solo career stuff. However, this ones a bit boring at times, many songs sound the same,there are two cuts though that are some of his best works.Heart full of holes, and The fish and the bird" are both stunning in their own way.Free Music Review: Typical Knopfler...That's a Good Thing
