This man has the gift of expresion...of seeing then feeling and then composing. For me this kind of depth has not been heard since I first listened to another favorite...Hilary Stagg music. Marshall Styler also has felt the pain of life, his and others. He then washes that pain in soothing musical textures that calm and heal, time after time.
Marshall Styler and wife Katherine are a special couple who have partnered in life. You can hear that response to their life together with each other and their family expressed and shared openly and graciously here. No composer can write this kind of music without that connection to real life, real feelings, and real love.
If this CD does not touch your soul, your memories, your heart, then no other CD will either.

I first heard Marshall Styler's music while stolling through a Peddler show (big craft show) in Texas. Mr. Styler would be there himself playing live occasionally and talking with the people. I have seen this musician in person. I am excited to find his latest CD. All of his CD's are excellent. Both my husband and I really enjoy this music. From the first notes you will be drawn into the relaxing melodies that are truly unique. I do not think his music resembles any other that I listen to. It is not piano, but some type of electric keyboard that enables his music to sound like other instruments are being filtered in with the melody. It flows very smoothly and I would encourage purchases of all his CD's.Free Music Review: Slam dunk

Well, so far the two out of two CDs I own of Marshall's have been amazing. His latest, Face in the Clouds, is just awesome. I can play it over and over (and have) on long trips and never get tired of its calming, soothing melodies.
I do massage part-time, and the music makes for extremely effective background. If I want to get people into the zone, there's no better way than to put on some of Marshall's tracks. Heck, forget the massage! :)
Seriously, I only write reviews on the rare occasion something has really made an impact on me. I hope you'll enjoy his music as much as I do.

We stumbled on Marshall's work on a music channel on tv, my other half was immediately taken with the piece that was playing, so I bought the album. Was jazzed to find we're buying this directly from the artist, and to get info on his other albums we would not have otherwise known to go looking for.
We love the music, and I know what's going to be on the wish list for the holidays!
