Free Music Notes for Martina McBride - Greatest HitsFree Music Review: Spectacular! Hit: 5 Stars
What a voice! That's the first thought that enters my mind when I think about Martina McBride. I've always enjoyed Martina's music over the years, but I never bought one of her albums. I decided to purchase her greatest hits collection since it had all of my favorite songs of hers on it, plus four new songs ("When God Fearin' Women Get the Blues," "Where Would You Be," "Concrete Angel" and "Blessed"). I was absolutely blown away by listening to her gorgeous voice that only gets better as time goes on. "Where Would You Be," Martina's current hit, proves that. It truly gives me chills, it's so good.Let's not forget the beautiful love ballad "Valentine." It's such a romantic song and I love how soft the words and the beat are. There are also many more memorable songs on here, like "Concrete Angel" and "Independence Day," that both deal with abuse. There's also a fun side to Martina, with songs like "My Baby Loves Me," "Happy Girl" and "When God Fearin' Women Get the Blues." Do yourself an enormous favor and buy this album. There's no way you will regret it and you'll be amazed. Martina is very talented and is the best female singer in country music!
Free Music Review: A MUST HAVE!! Hit: 5 Stars
I've spent the whole summer waiting for the Martina McBride "Greatest Hits" CD. And believe me...it's been well-worth the wait. I haven't always been a Martina fan, but ever since I bought her platinum release "Emotion" last year, I've become a HUGE follower. Her voice is so powerful, and she picks such excellent songs on her CD.sThis CD features some of the best country music I've heard in a long time. Not only does it feature her hits, such as the powerful "Wild Angels", the up-tempo "Happy Girl", & her career song "Independence Day", it also features four new songs - all with hit potential. "When God Fearin' Women Get the Blues" has already made its mark on radio & TV all over the nation (including on CMT's MwL), and is bound to go higher. A stand-out new track is "Concrete Angel", reminiscent of "Independence Day" and "This Uncivil War" (from her album "Emotion). This CD is a must have for all Martina fans - and anyone who likes country music. Martina truly has made her mark as the voice for female country stars in the new millenium.
Free Music Review: ONE OF THE BEST GREATEST HITS YOU'LL EVER FIND! Hit: 5 Stars
Martina really shows her memorable voice on this cd, it has all of her great hits, includin' her new cuts "When God Fearin' Get the Blues", which is toe-tappin' hillbilly REAL country music, just when you thought Martina was becomin' a pop star, she delivers this cut, don't miss "Blessed", whic many people can relate with, and the new cut "Where Would You Be", however I do like "Concrete Angel", its sad and everything, but it's kinda slow and TOO sad.My favorite song of martina's is "Independence Day", I used to think it was her true story, but it's not, but my other favorites are "Wild angels", "Life #9"(REAL COUNTRY MUSIC, great beat!), and "Safe In the Arms of Love", My Baby Loves Me", "Whatever You Say"(I was at her Greeley Independence Stampede concert in July 2002, this song just got everyone off their seats, I love when she sang "I know you can hear me, but I'm not sure you're listening") and "Love's the Only House" and the other songs are just great! BUY THIS CD, IF YOU'RE A TRUE COUNTRY FAN, YOU wILL BUT IT!

When I heard "Valentine"played on the radio years ago, with Jim Brickman.I was hooked on this fantastic song,"If there were no words,no way to speak,I would still hear you." This has got to be the number 1 love song of all time.So last week while going through the new CD's,I found Martina McBride's greatest Hits.I HAD TO GET THIS RECORD.I put on the first track,"My Baby Loves Me," and I said to myself,"OH MY GOD,She's a country singer." I had no idea.I was wondering why I haven't heard more of Martina's music played on the radio, but I don't listen to country stations. After playing this CD for a week,I'm still not a huge fan of the sound, but I am a fan of this wonderfull singer."There you are,Where would you be,Independence Day,Concrete Angel," and the clossing number,"Blessed," are my other favorite's.This CD is like hearing 2 different artist. One, a great Country singer, and the other,a top 40 voice, equal to Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion.I have been "Blessed" finding this Greatest Hits CD from Martina McBride.
