Free Music Notes for ReadysexgoFree Music Review: A crazy rock album for the new Century Hit: 5 Stars
This ablum came out in late 2000. THis album should have caught fire, but it did only fair in the rock arena. I am completely suprised that it didn't burn up the airwaves more because its hard edge with great song lyrics and flavor of a more poppy punk. I think now of how Bowling for soup has taken off, and this should have done the same. But alas, the boys broke up after this effort, and of course Butch Walker (lead singer of Marvelous 3) has helped with the last 2 bowling for soup efforts resulting in a grammy nomination. The first five song on this album just kick tail, and the rest of the songs are great as well, but you get worn out by the first songs. Its an album that you could leave in the CD player for days (to lazy to change discs) and not care because it still rocks every time. So if you are a rock fan, and especially if you like Bowling for soup, then this album is for you. Crank it, good party tunes.
Free Music Review: You should never get over this album Hit: 5 Stars
To get right to the point, Marvelous 3's third album rocks in all the right ways. An excellent follow up to their last album, which was also fantastic, this LP has a definite feel of great rock that this world so desperately needs. Not giving up a bit on their crafty lyrics and catchy beats, all 13 tracks and one hidden song are worth listening to over and over again. I'm listening to "ReadySexGo" right now for the nth time since buying it. I'd go into talking about each song, but you should really just hear them for yourself. Overall, the entire album has a good mix of rock styles and gives a feel of '80s Bon Jovi at times. I strongly suggest this album to anyone looking for really good music, unlike all the garbage on the radio right now. What are you waiting for? Hit that "Purchase" button right now!
Free Music Review: Another Great Album From A Great Band Hit: 5 Stars
The Marvelous 3 are back with all of the rock you can handle. They have brought back the fun, plus those catchy hooks, but with a whole new spin, on there new album ReadySexGo. This record is much more upbeat then Hey! Album, with really only two "slower" songs, in Radio Tokyo and Cigarette Lighter Love Song. But this album is about big guitars and funny, catchy, but raunchy lyrics. Your blood will boil when you hear songs like Little Head, Grant Park, Get Over, Sugerbuzz, Better Off Alone, and I Could Change. Once again just a solid album from front to back. As you can tell I am not a professional reviewer, but I would tell each and everyone of you to buy this album! Enough said just get it, you will not be sad by your new purchase!
Free Music Review: THIS CD IS INCREDIBLE!!! Hit: 5 Stars
WOW! This is one of the best group of songs I have heard in a long time. Marvelous 3 is definitely becoming one of my favorite bands. Their last album was great and this one improves on that (if thats even possible) The songs are incredibly catchy and the lyrics are great, even making me laugh at times. I can't even pick a favorite song, they're all so awesome. But what I can do is pick a least favorite song. That would have to be "I'm losing you". Its a little different than the other songs and doesn't quite sound like the Marvies. I'm sure it will probably grow on me with more listening but right now I don't like it as much as the rest of the disc. Even so, this CD totally rocks and I would recommend it to anyone who likes great music.
Free Music Review: ReadySexGo is the album for the 2000's Hit: 5 Stars
I picked up Hey Album after watching Marvelous 3 perform on HBO's Reverb and was hooked. This album is a gem from 1st song to last. It's really weird listening to Marvelous 3, you can hear hints of all sorts of influences; at one time they sound alittle like "Queen" and on other cuts maybe alittle "Elvis Costello" with some Dokken thrown in (ie. I'm losing you). The great thing is that you can hear the influences, but it's still very unique sounding and you can really appreciate the maturity of this album. I really think Marvelous 3 is the "Cheap Trick" of the 2000's, they are just that GOOD! BUY THIS DISC! You will be hooked. It's Marvy's world and we are just living in it....
