Free Music Notes for ReadysexgoFree Music Review: ReadySexGo is a mega-worthy followup to Hey! Album Hit: 5 Stars
The Marvelous 3 are simply one of the most energetic, fun and talented rock bands out there. They strip away the pretention and artsy crap and just make stuff you can dance to and play air guitar with. ReadySexGo keeps up what Hey! Album revved up with, more songs about girls, love and rock and roll. Stuff like "Supernatural Blonde," "Sugarbuzz" , "Grant Park" and "I'm Losing You" are snotty, Kiss/Cheap Trick style rockers, while the likes of "Get Over" and "Cigarette Lighter Love Song" will have the lighters out and the ladies tearin' up. This CD rocks - what are you waiting for? Add it to your shopping cart so it'll get to your house ASAP!!
Free Music Review: One of my absolute favorite bands Hit: 5 Stars
The Marvelous 3 is (heh, was - they went their separate ways awhile back) one of my absolute all time favorite bands. A friend of mine dragged me to their concert several years ago in Gainesville, FL. It was hands down the best concert I ever went to! I bought their CD after that and just fell in love. There are very few CDs that I can honestly say I like every track on it, this is one of the few! My favorite song is the first track, Little Head - the lyrics are hysterical! There is a good mix of fast/upbeat songs and slower ballads. Beautiful has to be one of the best love songs I've heard as well, the lyrics to that are really just heart-warming. The band is really sensational, I highly recommend. :)
Free Music Review: Simpley Said, A GREAT Album Hit: 5 Stars
Certainly a gem to any Marvelous 3 fan collection and to all music fans who want something more than the mundane music that is out in the airwaves now. This is a definite CD that must be had. There is not one bad song on the CD nor any lows. Once again, M3 has weaved a magical melody of music, lyrics, and experiences to speak to everyone. If they were aiming to bring their high energy, fun loving, rocking you out of your socks live performances to a stereo near you, then they fully achieved their goal and in doing so, captured the essence of what great music is and what a great rock band is and should be.
Free Music Review: Why Did We Have To Wait So Long? Hit: 5 Stars
This is the kind of band that needs to put out an album every year. Because I wear out my copies of each album almost as fast as they are released. First it was Math and Other Problems. After a few thousand listening sessions Hey Album came out and that hasn't left the CD player since. To sum these guys up "Nobody plays rock like this anymore". Remember old Cheap Trick, or the late 80's hair bands and sleaze metal bands like Poison? Rock that was fun and just plain rocked - this is the stuff. This isn't groundbreaking music, just pure rock to replace this modern day boy/girl band fluff stuff.
Free Music Review: Fun Rock n Roll - Pure And Simple Hit: 5 Stars
First of all, I cut my teeth on classic rock/metal from the late 70's and through the 80's. This was recommended to me by Amazon - Thank You! This is without a doubt the best album I have purchased in years. It has great songs throughout - not just one or two good songs. The songs have great hooks and the lyrics are excellent; "Hell's not cold I know, 'cause I've been there for the last half hour or so, and the Devil says it never snows." There are too many great songs to mention; some are Cold As Hell, Grant Park, Get Over and Supernatural Blonde. As everyone says in other reviews - these guys should have been huge.
