I was surprised how effective this CD was in helping me get a good sleep, better sleep than I've had for a while. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the approach, but the more I listened, the more sense it made. Mary really gets to some deeper issues around the whole insomnia thing, for which I'm grateful.

The soothing voice and music on this CD create a restful oasis in which to relax and fall asleep. The Sleep Easy CD is especially helpful when you are wound up from the stresses of living. It helps calm the overly busy mind, soothe the emotions, and relax the body. The CD contains both the Sleep Easy guided meditation with music in the background, as well as a track of music alone which can be used at any time for its relaxing effect. The insert that comes with the CD includes "Principles to Sleep By" which provide a backdrop to help with sleep.Mary and Richard Maddux were inspired to create this CD by reports that many people were using their Ease of Being CD to relax at bedtime. This new CD was designed to be especially conducive to falling asleep and resting deeply.
