Hit: 5 Stars

Coming from Matchbox Twenty, this EP could not be anything but amazing, beautiful, and listenable over and over and over.

It contains 6 songs (5 different versions of old songs and 1 new song) and 5 video clips on the enhanced portion of the CD from a concert right before their MTYTYA tour this year.

The new song, Suffer Me, is VERY good...it has the feel of a song from their Mad Season era, but the lyrics are more of a story than most of MBT's songs. It sounds kinda like a mix between Real World and Black And White People, with a MTYTYA feel.

The live songs are good too - If You're Gone is not really live, but acoustic in studio...and is almost as good as the CD version. It makes you want to cry just listening to it. All I Need live is very good, with Kyle's electric lead guitar standing out more just as on live versions of the new single, Bright Lights. Push live is good as always, full of emotion, listenable forever. Disease acoustic is very pretty, but not quite up to the quality of the other songs on the EP. And lastly, the Crutch (Jazz version) from VH1 Storytellers is pretty and completely unique.

The video clips are also good...ranging from songs from the new album, You're So Real and Hand Me Down, to songs from Mad Season and Yourself Or Someone Like You - Long Day, If You're Gone, and Push. It also has clips of the band between videos.

And the conclusion - this EP is cheap - BUY it. It'll be worth more than most full-length albums you buy.

Free Music Review: The EP is as gold as the other three albums!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I am a HUGE MB20 fan, I swear they are the best band out there; I think they are talented, incredible, accomplished, and truly amazing. MB20's ep was a surprise for me to see on the shelf, and as I am a big fan, I bought it, and all of the CD was pure gold. Here's my breakdown:

1) Crutch - I never thought I'd hear a jazzy, urban, stylized version of one of my favorite MB20 song, and it was surprising and new. I liked it a lot.
2) Push (live) - An incredible live version of Push, it is electric and raw, with such emotion and power.
3) All I Need (live) - Missing out on the More Than You Think You Are Tour, I have never heard this song live, and I love it a lot.
4) If You're Gone (Acoustic) - Incredible, and one of the highlights of the CD. Even if you found the rest of this CD to be bad, the five stars are in this acoustic gem alone.
5) Disease (Acoustic) - A mellow, cold version of a sure-fire hit, this is a beautiful acoustic version of an awesome tune.
6) Suffer Me - A new song that's not only lyrically wonderful, but melodic and wicked! I love "Suffer Me"!!

MB20 fans or music rock/pop fans, buy this ep, it's great!

Hit: 5 Stars

What a pleasant surprise to find another release from Matchbox Twenty. Although this CD has five previosly released songs, each of them have a new spin.

The jazzy, big band style of "Crutch" is quite a different version, but enjoyable. There is also a great live version of "Push" and "All I Need."

The acoustic version of "Disease" is a slower and more mellow version than on "More than you think you are."

The highlights of this cd is definitely the acoustic version of "If you're gone" and the new song "Suffer Me."

The song "If you're gone" really takes on a more emotional feeling with just the acoustic guitar. Suffer me is an upbeat rock song but that is what Matchbox Twenty is great at.

Free Music Review: ep, extends far
Hit: 5 Stars

I am a huge MB20 fan. From Yourself Or Someone Like You, with it's fresh sound, to the gloomy, yet moving Mad Season, To the joy ride of More Than You Think You Are, even as far back as Tabitha's Secret?, this lives up to the expectation. Crutch is Jazzy and lively. Push is heart pounding, especially when the crowd gets in to it. All I Need sounds like Roy Oberson's unreleased masterpiece. If You're Gone, is soulful and beautiful. Disease is stripped down and easy, and the gold on this ep has got to be Suffer Me. Unreleased, and recorded during the Mad Season sessions explodes in your face. Bringing a harder sound like other songs (So Sad, So Lonely) defiantly a must for any Rob Thomas or MB20 fan.

Hit: 5 Stars

Truly love the video and audio versions. This keeps every fan happy while waiting for the next album but it makes you to want for more. This really shows that MB20's really the best. Who would think that Disease could sound good in acoustic version and If Ur Gone more heartbreaking and heartwarming. If worried what 2 give 4 a love one,THIS IS IT. And of course with 5 songs in video version plus 6 songs on audio who's not gonna love it.
