After hearing from my mom that we had tickets to the show I immediately had to go out and buy this C.D., I thought we could learn the new songs and know them before the concert which was about a month before (March 17-St. Patty's Day). I listened to the new songs but soon just skipped them over and listened to #7-17. Although the new ones are a good attempt, nothing beat the original hits. After the concert, I hesitantly listened to the other 6 and found them to not be so bad. But I just reccomend you buy "Yourself or Someone Like You", and "Mad Season." But considering this has "most" of the best hits it is a really good buy. But if you do buy this C.D. it will make you want to go out and buy the originals.Free Music Review: Worth the wait

This album is definitely worth purchasing for the simple fact that it's Matchbox Twenty people! But okay, onto the music...the six new songs are great. A few are very catchy. All Your Reasons is definitely one to get hooked on. Also the first single How Far We've Come is very addictive as well as suprisingly uplifting. That track instantly puts me into a good mood. As for the eleven greatest hits...they rock! They have always rocked and will continue. Push never gets old and neither does Mad Season. Gotta love 'em! Now hopefully Matchbox Twenty puts out an album with all new tracks!! That would be awesome! I love Rob and MB 20. Matchbox 20 totally rocks!!! They have really become my all-time favorite band now. Ever since I bought Yourself or Someone Like You for Real World, I have enjoyed and appreciate their music. The wait is totally worth it. This album rocks! I really love "How Far We've Come." Need I say more? Note to pac-man robbage's negative review- You call yourself that? What is that? You have the nerves to call MB20 lazy? Rob and MB20 will always write and create beautiful music more than you ever will!! and that's to say if you even can. Ha! That would be a laugh. I love Matchbox Twenty, so I'm probably biased, but I think this is a great CD set. There are two discs, one with six new songs, and a greatest hits disc. I love the new single, "How Far We've Come," and the rest of the new songs are not bad either, although I think the single is the best of the bunch. Of course, the greatest hits are wonderful songs, and it's great to have them all on one disc. However, I wish that "Last Beautiful Girl" had been included.
If you like Matchbox Twenty, or if you want to buy an overview of their music, this is the set for you.

Was really looking forward to hearing the new songs from the band and have to admit when i first heard the cd i wasn't too sure as it's quite different from what they have previously done however after two listens i was hooked! Yes i would have liked a whole album of new material but it is brilliant and shows that the guys have still got what it takes to produce good songs.
The greatest hits part is great - all my favourite songs from all their albums (except for Bed Of Lies but i'll let that one go!!) in one place.
All in all a great cd set.
