Free Music Notes for Youth AlbumFree Music Review: Matisyahu -- A Great Disc Hit: 4 StarsI think "Youth" is a great album. While it is not completely the same Matisyahu that we are used to, "Youth" deviates a bit to showcase a different side of Matisyahu. Aside from the aforementioned review, I do not think this album is begging for airplay.. Much of Mathisyahu's orginal style shows through -- the only difference being his utilization of diffferent instruments and styles to give the reggae aspect a bit of an electro-edge. The album also conveys a bit more of a melodic atmosphere with hints of synth and airy overtones on a few tracks. Overall, I think its a great release and is definalely worth a listen if you have been listening to him for awhile now or are a frontrunner.
