This is definitely, no doubt about it, absolute in my top ten- ever. It's seductive and beautiful- his voice is silky, the lyrics are also beautiful- I can, and have listened to this CD, over and over again. This is one of the greatest albums he has done, hell all of them are great. This man is so wonderful. His voice is like cool rain on a hot summer day, so glad that it came. I mean I could sit here and write all night on his musical perfection, but I'll just sum my thoughts up. This man is the Wolfgang of Neo-Soul, a true musical powerhouse. His voice is sultry and divine, yet he places a groove deep-within. I would recommend this album to anyone, no matter what type of music you may perfer. Maxwell is truly talented, people give credit where credit is due. This is only his debut album, so just think of how great the other three are. MaxPeace!!!Free Music Review: Smooth and silky.

This is a fabulous album, full of sultry tones and seductive melodies. The blend of songs is electic yet smooth and seemless as the Artist's style is to blend them one into the other.
The song's speak of the joy, the difficulty and the contrary postion of being in love and they do it with elegant and astute resonance. The real joy of the album though is the range and beauty of this guy's voice, it inevitably invites comparison yet for me he is unique and special. If you have never indulged in his beautiful music then this is the best place to start.
Spending time with Maxwell feels like having the most sublime and self indulgent time
