Outstanding!! Many classics. Plus three brand new tracks which prove Meat Loafs progression to ALWAYS retain the King of Rock title. "Is Nothing Sacred" is phenomenal (But some may find it too meaningful) "Home By Now/No Matter What" (The greatest lyrics ever. Meats version easily smashes and surpasses any other) "A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste" (And you thought Bat Out Of Hell was extreme!!)
EXTRAORDINARY! If you dont get this music - I feel real sorry for you... Meat Loaf ROCKS!

If you like Heavy Metal and the Musicals of Webber or Steinman (or together) have to buy it. This is musican live of Meat Loaf on 2 CDs. The three new songs are fantastics. Andrew Lloyd Webber is the best composer of now. It is 5 stars CD, but I'm missing "For Crying Out Loud". I have got a message to Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman: you could make more songs together with symphonic orchestras and then you will be the best band of rock and opera. Last year while I was on vacation I had the great experience of seeing MeatLoaf in concert on the VH1 Storytellers tour and he is amazing. He has so much emotion and heart. This 2 disc album has all of the best Meat Loaf songs that you know and some that I as a casual fan hadn't heard before. My favorites "Not A Dry Eye In The House" and "Objects In The Rear View Mirror...". Tremendous collection. If you are a fan of Meat Loaf you must own this!!!Free Music Review: Meatloaf is awesome

I have been a meatload fan for years. Recently I got an updated version on my computer for music and realized all the CD's of his that I was missing. So of course I ordered every one of them. The best of gave a good selection of his various album selections. He has so many good songs it would hard to get a better selection than what he picked out. "I am the Nureyev of rock'n'roll" Meat Loaf said on an interview. True or false, you'll need a bit of sense of humor to enjoy this "best of" album. If you are tired of pretentious or self-called "serious" rock music, try this. Forgettable lyrics for very good music, songs that make the listener conscious about the limitations of rock. Or did somebody thought rock music was more than just fun?
