This soundtrack will roll over you in soothing waves. It takes one on a relaxing journey and fills the senses with wonder. It is one my all time favorites and remains in heavy rotation. The songs are short compared to the movie, but it's not about the length of the song, but the qaulity of the recording and this hits the mark, over and over!
It's fitting for all seasons; rain, snow and sunshine! I urge anyone that loves to relax with divine sounds to add this to their collection.

The score to Meet Joe Black is one of the best I have ever heard. I loved the score from the first time I saw the movie. I am by no means a great lover of symphonic music but this music had the ability to touch my soul. It's music to work by, relax by or reflect on the things you want or need to do. I have never written a review before, but this piece is worth it. Last but not least Meet Joe Black is the most charismatic role Brad Pitt has ever played and I wanted the whole package. A pouco tempo assisti o filme "Meet Joe Black/Encontro Marcado", mas o que chamou a atenção, além do roteiro, dos atores (Anthony Hopkins, como sempre excelente e Brad Pitt, sempre preciso)foi sua trilha sonora. No encerramnto do filme, já nos créditos ouvindo, "Wonderful World" numa versão tão delicada, foique tomei a decisão de ter para sempre em minha este som que me remeterá sempre a essa maravilkhosa história. This soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks i have ever purchased.The musci written for this movie by Thomas Newman is one of his best works. It is moving and inspirational.It sits you down and heplps you vizualize the moving scenes that happen throughout the story. Yes the tracks are short, but they are enough to fill you full of emotions.These songs you will carry forever,for they are a musical represantation of the beauty's beauty. PERFECT!!!! My wife absolutely loves the movie and has been dying to get the soundtrack. I gave it to her for Valentine's Day and she just started crying. Needless to say I scored some serious relationship points. This soundtrack has a good mix of slow and fast music, and it is very romantic, especially if you've seen the movie. We like to turn the lights down low and play it through the home theater after the kids are in bed. Best $13 I've ever spent.
