Free Music Notes for Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?Free Music Review: I haven't heard the original and don't need to! Hit: 5 Stars
This is a thrash masterpiece in all aspects. From the chugging riffs in Wake Up Dead, to the eerie intro in My last Words, this album has every ingredient needed in a classic thrash album. There is not a bad song on the cd, every song fits right where it is. The title track is a real headbanging song, with the infamous bass intro and 13 mini solos. Good Mourning/Black Friday and My Last Words both start slow but explode later on to reveal their catchy choruses and riffs. The only negative spot is I Ain't Superstitous, which isn't a bad track, but it can get annoying. Also, the bonus tracks are worthless, so don't buy the album for those. But really, Peace Sells is a true thrash masterpiece that belongs on any Metalhead's shelf. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Free Music Review: BUY PEACE SELLS....NOW! Hit: 5 Stars
This is amazing! This is exactly how this cd should sound.
The remix and remastering make this cd sound SO MUCH better than the original.
I'm very glad I bought it.
I only really get into the first three Megadeth albums, and my favorite is Killing is my business...,so I wasn't sure I wanted to buy Peace sells... & So far so good...(because I have the old cds),but I bought Peace sells... and now I have to buy So Far So Good..., because the remixes and remastering make them sound a hundred times better!!!!
Listen to them and compare the difference(esp. in the drums)
I wish Gar Samuelson could hear this remix, I'm sure he would love it! He was Amazing and very underrated. And SO much better than Lars.
Free Music Review: One of the best metal albums of all time!!! Hit: 5 Stars
This is definetely one of the best metal albums of all time and should be on anyone's top ten list of all time. Megadeth has not produced a CD of this greatness before or since. Don't interpret this as not liking their other stuff. But this is the first one I pull out to listen to in its entirety. The guitar playing and Dave Mustaine's growling voice just don't get any better. My ultimate favorite songs are "The Conjuring" and "Bad Omen".
Even the cover art is awesome and puts forward the premise of "Peace Sells...But Who's Buying". This one along with Metallica's "And justice for All" sums up the state of today's world.
If you're a metal head, this CD is a must buy!!!
Free Music Review: I wish I could smear this cd all over and roll around in it. Hit: 5 Stars
What a great disc this is. I have had this one on tape, vinyl, and cd. This version is top notch. Peace Sells is widely known as being one of the most important releases in thrash metal. I offer to you to listen to it again with virgin ears and take in all that this album has to offer.
First of all, there is the title track. You know it, you love it. Let's move on to the other gems contained here. Good Mourning/Black Friday. You wanted epic? You got it. It is an exhausting trip to say the least. Primo writing. For good ol' thrash fun, check out My Last Words. Amazing song.
In short, this is essential to all metal collections, even if you are no die-hard Megadeth fan. Get it now.
Free Music Review: A+ Hit: 5 Stars
I'm at work with nothing much to do so I'm writing reviews to kill time. It's on my iPod at the moment, therefore, I'll write about these 8 tracks.
I love these tracks to Deth. Rust in Peace I would say is their pinnacle along with Countdown to Extinction. I'm an easy listener, which means I listen to everything (Rock, Rap, Pop, ANYTHING). I would recommend this music to people who like Megadeth obviously. If you're new to it, you may not like Mustaine's voice, right off the bat at least. Give it time, i remember when I was even picky with music I still stuck with this album. That says a lot right there.
