in the making. She said a long time ago she wanted to make a blues album and though not a blues album it is very bluesy. I think she has outdone herself. This is the tried and true Melissa. I have been a fan since 1992 and she can do no wrong. This album is Melissa in the beginning. She mellowed out a little here and there but I think she has reached back to the beginning and pulled out a beautiful CD. I have not heard it all yet but the bits I have heard make me want to put the CD in the car and just drive (as I did when I first heard "Nowhere To Go", another beauty). In my eyes and ears,Melissa Etheridge always grows artistically and musically. She rocks out,even with her spin on traditional holiday songs.They sound fresh and full of life.This cd is a great addition to her music and to many Christmases to come. Each song I love alot. You can play it over and over again.Peace is the answer.Sometimes it happens more so at Christmas.Let it happen through out the year. After following Ms. Etheridge for many years and agonizing (and yes I am a guy) through her relationship ups and downs and then being near devastasted by her cancer the is a yet another album song from the heart. Some Christmas faves and some you don't hear too often, but you can feel and see her heart right out there in front of you when she sings.
The woman has rock in her soul and music as her pulse.

I have wished and waited for what seemed like an eternity for Melissa to lend her commanding voice to a Holiday Album. She brings such power and depth to this album, and the strength of her voice electrifies my heart and stirs my spirit. Her vocal power is exhilarating and formidable, yet soft and reflective. I cannot stop from playing this album. You will want to play it weather it is Christmas or not.Free Music Review: I TOTALLY LOVE IT!

Melissa Etheridge did it again! She is an amazing singer and I this album has new songs that get out of the boring and traditional mundane Christmas carol. I am Jewish but I loved this holiday album very much. I couldn't wait until the winter to listen to this album. It is very much playing in my car. I love it!
