Free Music Notes for CargoFree Music Review: Great transfer to CD Hit: 5 StarsI had this release as a kid on LP and played it quite a lot. The transfer to CD from LP is excellent. I hear details I never heard before! The music on this release stands the test of time. EXCELLENT!
Free Music Review: Cargo is better than Buisness As Usual Hit: 5 StarsI've looked in several music stores for this album, over the years, with no luck so I'm very happy to see it available here. In my opinion Cargo is a much better album than Buisness as usual. It's just a shame that they didn't put out much more stuff. Love to get 2 hearts on cd just not for 30.00 bucks.
Free Music Review: Good as it ever was Hit: 4 StarsA fine album - the good songs are really good. There are a few that I don't think were worthy, but very good overall.
Free Music Review: You like Men at Work? Hit: 4 StarsI saw Colin Hay play 'Overkill' accousticly on an episode of Scrubs last year and it reminded me of some of the great work the band put out in the '80'sand early '90's. Can't say that I adore every song, but his writing skills are really solid. It's a good recording to have in a collection. Definitely one to play when everything else sounds the same.
Free Music Review: Ghosts Appear and Fade Away Hit: 5 Stars Men At Work's second, and in my opinion, best album came out in 1983. Featuring smash hits like Overkill and It's A Mistake, Colin Hay and the boys from Down Under surpass the successes from their debut, Business As Usual. Unfortunately, this would also be the last release with the original line-up. The band carried on with the follow-up Two Hearts in 1985, but it didn't gain much attention. Colin Hay has continued on as a solo artist, and often tours with Greg Ham under the Men At Work banner. Anyone's ultimate 80's music collection would not be complete with...Cargo!
