Awful. Just awful!
"Everything I Need" is good and Men At Worky, and "Children On Parade" is nice, but the rest of this album stinks like a rancid jar of Vegamite left in the sun all day.
"Maria" is dull, "Sail To You" is unlistenable and features Colin Hay rapping! Ugh! "Stay At Home" is lyrically kind of amusing, but most Greg Ham songs are. "Hard Luck Story"...it takes some getting use to, but ok when you listen to it enough. "Snakes And Ladders" = stale.
There's a reason why this album tanked and killed the band...IT STINKS! If you're a collector, get it to complete your Men At Work discography. If you're a casual MAW listener, avoid it like a rabid koala. Get the first two albums Business As Usual and Cargo. Those are good albums. Cargo is one of my favorite albums of the '80s.
Colin's first solo album, Looking For Jack, is a waaaaaaaay much better example of his work. THAT would've been a good third Men At Work album. But Two Hearts, whenever I smell something unpleasant in my apartment, I wonder if it's coming from this album. Seriously, don't get it.
