Free Music Review: my take on undone

Undone is a very good effort from the much-loved-by-me band, Mercy Me.
I especially love the songs, "Everything Impossible", "In The Blink Of An Eye", "When You Spoke My Name" and the title track; "Undone". However, much of Mercy Me's style remains repititive and you feel like you've heard these songs before. I really like the song; "Homesick" but it reminds me of "I Can Only Imagine".
While I love their music, they have remained somewhat safely predictable. I really ought to give this cd 4 stars but I'm rating it 5 stars simply because I'm a loyal fan and their dedication to Christ is simply amazing and inspiring (they constantly refuse to ever go mainstream), and they introduced me to a path in my walk with Christ I wouldnt have taken ordinarily.

This is the most incredible album that I have heard in recent memory. The lyrics speak to each and everyone who listens to it and the music is better than anything you will hear. Altogether, this is an UNBELIEVABLE album!After hearing MercyMe's "Spoken For" album, I didn't know if they could do any better. But with songs like "Unaware", "Homesick" and "Here With Me", MercyMe has planted their roots deep not just in Christian music history but in music history altogether with the amazing lyrics, accompaniment and feeling put into this entire album.
If Amazon.com had a 10 star rating, I wouldn't hesitate!

I AM I NEW LISTENER TO MERCY ME AND I ORDERED THIS CD AND WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE THIS GROUP HAS HEART FELT SOUL STIRRING SONGS FOR THE TIMES WE LIVE IN TODAY, MY FAVORITE SONG IS ( ALTHO ALL IS GOOD ) HOMESICK IT TALKS ABOUT WHEN U LOOSE SOMEONE U LOVE TO DEATH IT MAKES U HOMESICK TO SEE THEM AND ONE OF THESE DAYS IF WE LIVE FOR JESUS CHRIST WE WILL GET TO SEE OUR FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES WHO'S WENT ON BEFORE US , I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS ALBUM TO ANYONE WHO WANTS THEIR HEART TOUCHED AND THE SOUL STIRRED WITHIN WAY TO GO MERCY ME !! I have listened to Mercy Me since their debut CD and fell in love with both their music and the insightful lyrics. When I first listened to this CD, I did not care for it as much as the other 2. However...the more I listened the more I "got it." The lyrics have given me words to many of my spiritual feelings that I cannot articulate on my own. I now love this one as much as the other two. I have seen this band in concert twice and will see them again in a few weeks. I can't wait!!! I truly believe that these guys are godly young men who have found their calling. Thanks Mercy Me and may God continue to bless your ministry.

I have probably listened to my Undone CD a hundred times. I love it. These guys are great. And how cool is this? I am reading an awesome book about putting Christ in charge of your life, and the author mentions Mercy Me. He seems to love them too. I think that's great that he gave them a plug in his book. The book by the way, is called Passenger's Side - Putting Jesus Christ in Charge of your Life. Author is John Forosisky. It's the most interesting/exciting Christian book I've read to date.
Well, if you are wondering if you'll like Undone, you will. Get it.
