Free Music Review: WHEN DO THEY RELEASE THE FOLLOW-UP!?!?!?!?!?

This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most beautiful CDs I have ever listened to. It is beyond difficult to describe. Sometimes I feel like I am listening to mellow, mellow rock-type music. Other times it is pure downtempo. It is somehow relaxing yet head-bobbing throughout. It is slow yet the music never fails to move forward. It is soft and comfortable yet never weak and uses none of the gimmicky crap you hear in so much "downtempo". I have owned this CD for appx. 2 years and I listen to it more now than when I bought it and when I bought it this CD was a part of my regular rotation. It is my Merkin Dream that they soon release a follow-up.Songs of Note - All of them. Seriously. I am head over heels in love with every song on this album.
Explorer - Starts with keyboards and then moves into this slow, rythmic mood featuring a really cool snare drum and synthesizers. It is absolutely one of the best songs of the last 5 years.
Long Walks on the Beach - Begins with acoustic guitar and follows with a breakbeat type percussion and beautiful vocals reminiscent of Lou Reed.
It's Daylight Again - I don't know how a song so lethargic at first glance never fails to cause me to close my eyes and lose myself in the rhythm.
Victory Lap - Once again, beautiful. Strings, striking percussion, and perfect bits of electronica induced flourishes. What a perfect name for the last song of this wonderful album. I'm sure they did a Victory Lap once they finished this thing.
