Free Music Review: DAMN linkin park sayin there metal HAH there light rock

unlike linkin park this is true metal. Linkin park is an excellent and safe band, but they are not the hard core "everything" you would want. Linkin park is more light-med rock.
Metal: Metal is basicaly HARD CORE vochales, guitars, drums, sometimes fast paste songs and has a classic sound to it. linkin park lacks most of that but they are still very talented guys.
Anyways Metalica goes WAY back. Before my time probably and you really have to have a feel for the old style singing and heavy metal guitar playing to like them. At first I thought they sounded like a bunch of girls squeeling there high pitched voices off but then I listend to that one song with the egyptian kinda sound to it. Thats the one that I like. Anyways, if you like older style singing this is the band for you.

I just bought this set a few days ago and man i am blown away. I was looking forward to having the 3 cds that came with it but the DVDs are what are really worth the money. watching Metallica in concert makes me wish i had more oppertunitys to see them live. I am going to Summer Sanitarium that is going to be awesome too but this set is definately worth the money. The San Diego dvd is awesome i thing i enjoy the Seattle one more though maybe because i am from the seattle area. the croud just gets into it more in that video. there is so much material in this set it will entertain you for hours. some of the stuff on here is hilarious and there is stuff you could never find anywhere else. If ur a serious metallica fan u should definately pick it up.-Sir Didimus

First of all, let me say that the quality of the DVD picture and audio is quite lacking. The picture is fuzzy and the camera angles are not very interesting and the views switch too fast. If you want a good Metallica DVD get Cunning Stunts, it's awesome. The box set gets a five from me because the three Mexico City CDs more than make up for the low quality DVDs. Almost all of my favorite Metallica songs are on them and they sound so much better live. I can't stand recordings that sound so polished that they seem fake. Kirk's guitar tone on these CDs has much more character than the ones on most of Metallica's regular CDs. Fade to Black is probably my favorite track because the intro with Kirk's solo is slowed down and it sounds amazing. Buy this.Free Music Review: Delivers what it says it does

I realize its easy to complain that the recordings of the old concerts aren't great quality like the new ones (Cunning Stunts, S&M). However, it is quite impossible for this to be the case. The old concerts were recorded long ago. Nothing can be done to make these recordings "DVD-quality" or make the sound true 5.1. The reason Cunning Stunts and S&M are great quality video and sound is because they were recorded that way, intended to be distributed on DVD.This product isn't really for people who already own the original box set of VHS tapes. This is a lower priced version on DVD. Same quality, just different format.
Needless to say, expect the original recordings of these great shows, just don't expect a technical miracle.

If you want to hear Metallica at their finnest live than man this live boxset is for you. 3 cds and 2 dvds full of raw Metallica performances man what more can you ask. Their live in Mexico City, San Diego, and Seattle. They performe all their classic songs from Kill Em' All to the Black album. Some good songs are Welcome Home( Sanitarium ), Fade to Black, One, and hey Enter Sandman is a cool opener for their concerts. It's a build up so you can get ready for the heavier stuff like Creeping Death. Don't listen to the people that say oh Metallica dosn't know how to play their songs anymore because thats a lie. And this set will prove that those people are full of sh*t. The best Metallica material and get this for some true metal.
