Free Music Notes for Donnie Darko (Score)Free Music Review: Beautiful music for a beautiful film Hit: 5 Stars
You wouldn't be here if you hadn't seen the film. Ergo, you liked the film, you want the music. If you've come looking for all the 80's pop tunes featured in the film, I'm afraid such a thing doesn't exist. However, if you've come looking for the ethereal score that permeates the whole film, congratulations; you've found it.
Free Music Review: beautiful and dreamy Hit: 5 Stars
Donnie Darko is one of my favorite movies, and I love this CD. As others have noted, it doesn't include the 80s pop hits, but this is a beautiful, dreamy score that perfectly fits the movie. It's one of the best scores I can remember in the past few years, really, and I am very glad the director's cut of the movie will be released soon.
Free Music Review: A very original soundtrack for an extremely original movie Hit: 5 Stars
Donnie Darko is definitely one of my top five favorite movies, and one reason (a main one, in fact) is the original score. The music in this movie is creepy and oddly soothing sometimes and once you've heard it, it's hard to get it out of your head. It's defenitely a must-buy for fans of the weird and fun.
Free Music Review: WOW - Haunting and beautiful Hit: 5 Stars
If you've seen and love the movie (as I do), buy the score. And mind you, it's just the score (none of the 80's songs are on the soundtrack). But even so, it's worth it. The only draw back is that the tracks are too short (for me) - they leave you wanting so much more.
Free Music Review: Right in the Movie Hit: 5 Stars
When I heard the songs from this soundtrack I thought I was right in the movie. You can recollect importantant scenes just by turning on your CD player. I did miss the great 80s songs though but it is still a great buy. I highly recommend this if you loved the movie.
