Free Music Notes for I Dreamed a DreamFree Music Review: The Best of Musical Theatre Hit: 5 Stars
Taking songs from his Centre Stage and The Musicals cds, Michael Ball has compiled the best of musical theatre from the classics (Something's Coming) to present day gems (Seasons of Love). Three tracks alone make this a worthy CD to buy: Music of The Night -- Michael proves that he could be a worthy successor to the original Phantom with his rendition of this song. Love Changes Everything -- Michael's signature song and Anthem, from Chess. This was the first time I'd heard this particular song and I had chills as I listened to Michael sing it. If you are a new fan of Michael Ball, this would be an excellent introduction to the music Michael does best. Highly recommended to everyone who enjoys Michael's singing.
Free Music Review: Michael Ball - I Dreamed a Dream Hit: 5 Stars
This import has become a favorite of mine. Michael's redition of "Anthem" with the men's chorus supporting him is absolutely spectacular. Michael has taken several songs that were written for a female in the original musical and made them his. He demonstrates great power in his upper register and brings it back down to a piano falsetto, all the while sounding effortless. If you like Michael Ball's voice quality (he does use a lot of color), this CD is a MUST HAVE!
Free Music Review: Great Voice!! Hit: 5 Stars
Saw him perform on a Andrew Loyd Weber DVD and we were blown away. We bought his CD and every song is a winner. The puzzeling thing is why we never heard of him before. He is truly an excellent singer, right up there with the Micheal Crawfords of the music world in our view. We played his Cd to our family and friends and they agree. Buy it! You won't be dissapointed.
Free Music Review: The best Hit: 5 Stars
This a terrific cd by the best voice in musical theater today. Michael can make you feel every nuance in each and every song. His rendition of You Will Never Walk Alone will bring a tingle to your spine and make you want to listen to him sing the "phone book". He is the best there is.
Free Music Review: wondrous music Hit: 5 Stars
He sings with such fervor and deep feeling that you feel he is in
the room with you. I love the tremor in his voice. His rendition
of " I dreamed a dream" and " Never on a Sunday" are so deeply felt.
