I was very eager to listen to this, having recently rediscovered Bloomfield on the Super Session recording. (I had the original LP, wore it out to death, and recently found a remastered CD). After purchasing this album, I realized that about half of it is a bit too simplistic, but the second half really shows that he caught the real spirit of the blues. If you listen closely, you can hear where Clapton got some of his white blues mojo from. Unfortunately, when I tried to load the CD onto my Itunes library, the disc just did not operate correctly. Perhaps it's a really old disc (it did have a Capitol lable), but for some reason, it just wouldn't upload. perhaps the recording was in an old format.
