BUBLE'S PERFORMANCE THROUGHOUT IS JOYOUS, SHOWCASING NOT ONLY HIS GOD GIVEN VOCAL TALENT TO THE FOREFRONT, BUT EPITOMIZING HIS GIFT OF SHOWMANSHIP TO BOTH HIS HOME AUDIENCE WATCHING ON PBS'S GREAT PERFORMANCE SERIES, AND ALSO TO HIS WILTERN THEATRE AUDIENCE.
WE WATCHED THIS DVD WITH OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN THE OTHER NIGHT AND EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US TRULY ENJOYED IT. MY SON-IN-LAW IS NOW A BUBLE' BELIEVER AND MY GRANDDAUGHTERS HAVE FOUND THEIR DAY'S SINATRA.....
THE DUETS WITH CHRIS BOTI AND THE ITALIAN WOMAN SINGER ARE ADDED DELIGHTS AS WERE THE BEHIND THE SCENES PORTIONS.
MR. MICHAEL BUBLE', YOU HAVE 'CAUGHT US ALL' AND WE WISH YOU WELL.

This is my favorite of Michael's CDs or DVDs so far (and Call me Irresponsible has been out a while). This is the one with the real staying power. I have watched the DVD many times.
Ilove Buble's interplay with his own band, particularly with the amazing guitarist, Randy Napoleon. Since Napoleon left Buble's band (after three wonderful years) to join Freddy Cole's quartet, this may be the last chance we get to see him with Michael.
The two of them are just amazing, particularly on my favorite song on the DVD, You don't Know Me. The DVD is better than the TV special by the same name, which replaced a valuable band member with a star--there's nothing like listening to Michael with the extraordinary talents in his own band!

This is a MUST-PURCHASE for any Michael Buble fan. I enjoyed this product so much that I'm amazed at how reasonably it's priced. The DVD features a 2-hour concert (the 2005 "Great Performances" program featured on PBS), PLUS a bonus "Backstage Pass" -- Michael takes the viewer on a backstage tour and we get to witness the prep and rehearsals for the show, while enjoying MB's banter all along the way... I've read the reviews that say he's crass, but I can't disagree more. I think he's quite witty, and very endearing.
I attended a MB live concert just a few weeks ago, and I can honestly say that I enjoyed this DVD just as much as the live concert, and the DVD is, of course, a lot less expensive. The added CD is icing on the cake!

Michael Buble' has 'IT'.... 'It's' that aura that few celebrities possess. Watching this phenomenal live concert DVD I found myself enraptured by Micael's voice and charisma. Yes, he can sing like an angel, but YES YES YES he is SO cute to look at AND listen to when he talks and jokes with his audience or the viewers at home.
You can feel the love AND respect the audience has for his talents and you also feel the love AND respect he has for his music AND his fans. Truly unique.
The live album includes some songs not heard on the dvd and will become a fixture in your music rotation for sure.....
Many of my friends and co-workers will receive Caught in the Act as their gift from me in their stockings. Great gift idea.

From the first moment Michael Buble graces the stage I found myself in awe of his impressive skill set - he can sing, he can dance, he can make you laugh and he has that 'it' quality that just makes you want to take him home!
My husband enjoyed the dvd as much as I did, no small feat considering he is usually asleep ten minutes after any movie comes on! He's now a fan and really enjoyed the showmanship and Michael's great voice and song choices.
His appearance on Ellen DeGeneres yesterday morning was like icing on my entertainment cake and I highly recommend this package. The music cd contains songs from the live show as well as others that were not caught on film.
Consider us happily Caught by Caught in the Act!
