I was first introduced to Michael Buble a couple of years ago when his career was first beginning to soar. It was very obvious that this young man's talents would bring him far. My wife and I were very fortunate to see him in person at the Folly Theater in Kansas City approximately 18 months ago and our high esteem for Michael was solidified in granite --- we would be fans of his for life. This live CD/DVD album is a "must own". It is superbly recorded and mixed. It will give you the impetus to seek out and attend one of his live performances.Free Music Review: BUBLE HAS 5 Stars
I have been a Buble fan since. the beginning. This man has grown into the cosumate performer. He echo's visions of Darin & Sinatra, but his style is his own. The person who stated that he copies Darin & Sinatra is way off base. Watch the DVD & judge for yourself. Buble is in a class by himself. He sings, dances, and a teriffic sense of humor, but most important, he loves what he does, and thanks to him, this great music lives on. Keep singing the standards, Michael, for these are truly America's Bravo, Buble!!!!Free Music Review: Caught in the Act is Excellent

If you missed this concert on PBS when it aired, this set is well worth the price. Buble is in fine form and the audio and video on the disk do justice to the performance. This DVD is especially good if you have a good 5.1 sound system and a wide screen TV. The DVD is the compilation of two shows recorded at the Wilturn Theater in Los Angeles. The main difference between this disk and the PBS special is the ending. The Chris Botti guest appearance is the last song on the PBS special while on the DVD it is part of the bonus material.Free Music Review: Excellent DVD

This DVD is simply wonderful. Michael shows he definitely is one of the top young performers out there today. There is tremendous anticipation for his fans as they await his next production. But, for a new fan such as myself this DVD is one that I'll easily enjoy watching many times more. You really cant go wrong with this CD/DVD combo if you have any interest at all in jazz and/or big band music. I didnt think I was a fan of either until I stumbled on Michael's music. I bought this CD after buying a DVD called The Wedding Date.
Most of the songs performed on this sound track are his, and I fell in love with Sway, and Home. He has a very mellow, dreamy, sound, much reminiscent of Frank Sinatra or more recently Harry Connick Jr. My nineteen yr old daughter is also a fan of his now and in the future. The CD itself is good but, if you purchase this item be sure to get the edition with the concert DVD also, as there are more selections on this, but only 8 to 10 selections on the CD itself.
