Free Music Review: I can't imagine better music

I love music and with that I LOVE Michael Bubble!!! It's time is simply the greatest recording ever made. I thought groups like The Beatles, Rolling Stones and artists like Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix were important, people that actually write their own music. You know what, they are so insignificant compared to Bubble that I can't describe it. When his music plays, I feel like I'm running in the alps of Germany in my rhinestone studded lederhosen being chased by Siberian Huskies. It's a happy time that makes me forget I'm a total loser with no hopes of getting a date. That's why I love Bubbbblee, he makes me feel cool without me having to be cool. Have you ever listened to a CD that makes you feel like you're eating a filet mignon with mac and cheese? If you haven't, listen to this and you'll be full.
There is a good chance this CD will have uses well beyond just listened to the greatest piece of music ever. I think this cd could cure anywhere from 2-4 diseases, clear up rush hour traffic and adopt cute pets from shelters. Booble has that kind of power. Don't doubt his power or he shall turn on you. If that happens, you'll know it. Jose Canseco doubted him and look at him now.

Michael Buble has one of the smoothest voices around. He has excellent phrasing and intonation, not to mention a very melodious voice. All of those qualities are perfect for singing the kinds of songs he sings.
Some of the standouts are Feeling Good, I love the sound of it. The band and his voice soar. His version of You Don't Know Me is the most beautiful version of the song that I've heard. It was simple and heartfelt and moving.. This is probably my favorite track of the album. Quando, Quando, Quando was also a superb track. I love the arrangement, they turn it into a soft slow sensual HOT song. Nelly Furtado and Buble's voices blend well together. I just love love this track.
His version of I've Got You Under My Skin was also superb. I already heard his previous take on the song on a previous album. This version was more assertive and more vocally in control. Save the last Dance was another fun-great track as well as his heartfelt rendition of Try A Little Tenderness.
The rest of the songs are also great. Those that I mentioned are just my favorites. This is the kind of album where you would want to listen to all the tracks.

Free Music Review: Michael Bublé - Awesome Job on Nina Simone's "Feeling Good"!

OK, I admit it. I did it. Something I rarely do. Buy a CD for one song, not worried what else I will find. But I did it here. I saw Michael Bublé perform "Feeling Good" on TV and thought he really did the song justice. So, I *had* to have it. Some remakes by contemporary artists leave me begging for the original, but if this song was going to be covered, this is how I wanted to hear it. I love the way this song is produced.
There were other pleasant surprises. A fresh cover of "You Don't Know Me" (but I do also like the Ottmar Liebert instrumental version in "Groundhog Day" and, of course, LOVE the Ray Charles version, which is still the best IMHO). While I'm also a big early Beatle's fan, I like the chance Michael took on the "Can't Buy Me Love" track. I've never been a big Nelly Furtado fan but she was destined to sing "Quando, Quando, Quando" with Michael. Just excellent on both of their parts. Nelly's voice really shines on this track.
This is one of those CD's that you put on during a rainy Saturday afternoon, kick back on the couch and just let it roll. Good job, Michael.
Free Music Review: ALBUM OF THE YEAR

So it's still the beginning of the year. However, this crooner is as talented and heartfelt a male singer as there ever has been. The disc includes 1 song co-written by Mr. Bubl`e, and it's outstanding: "Home." Chances are good you've heard it on the radio.
The remainder of the tracks are pop standards, beautifully arranged by David Foster. While Foster is hit-or-miss, (listen to the extreme power schmaltz of JOSH GROBAN) He nails this swing/big band sound for Bubl`e. The covers range from "I've Got You Under My Skin," to the Beatles' "Can't Buy Me Love," and it's amazing how this guy makes them sound as though they have the same composer. Other uptempo standouts are the opening track, "Feeling Good," and the stunningly arranged " Save The Last Dance For Me." Just listen to that voice soar at the end of that one. Nothing uptempo can compete with the ballads. Along with the aforementioned, "Home," he makes "You Don't Know Me," the Ray Charles hit, and Leon Russell's "Song for You," his own. Again, credit Foster for not overdoing these ballads, as is often his penchant. A truly brilliant CD.

Wow...I just have to say I absolutely love this cd. Every song is just wonderful. From the saucy "Save the Last Dance for Me" to country-esque "Home," this cd has a little bit of everything.
Now for those of you who like the song "Home," I must warn you. That is the only song on the entire cd that sounds country/pop. The rest of the cd is mellow jazzy tunes. So, if you're into "Home," I would check out the rest of the cd before you decide to buy the whole cd. But you won't be upset if you buy it!
I really like calming music with good lyrics, and this cd does it perfectly. I can listen to the entire cd through and through on my long trip home every weekend. And most of you can agree that you normally can't listen to an entire cd from start to finish. CD's these days just don't have great songs from beginning to end. But Michael Buble does it - and then some. I love the mellow, soothing sound of his voice. It's relaxing. Perfect for an outside bbq or a pool party. It really feels like summer when I listen to this cd.
Buy this cd, you'll love it and get hooked!!
