Free Music Notes for It's TimeFree Music Review: Not bad, not bad at all and no problem loading to ipod Hit: 5 Stars
Actually pretty darn good, to my surprise. I heard of Buble for a while, but I'm so used to listening to Sinatra era singers, I figured this guy is just another hype. It just happened the other day, I was dining at a resturant and some familiar tune was playing. Hmm, it's Come Fly With Me, for a minute, I thought it's Sinatra, but the smooth voice has that different youthful energy. Later I found out it's Buble. I've been listening to his albums lately. It's nice to have some fresh voices like Buble now to carry these familiar tunes. He is still young and his voice and singing really has that true crooner quality. I bet he would even make old blue eye himself proud.
And a quick comment regarding Roger's review. It's strange that you had problem playing this cd on computer. I have no problem playing it and loading it onto my ipod. I know two of my friends who bought this cd don't have any problem either.
Free Music Review: The absolute best male singer today... Hit: 5 Stars
This man is one in a lifetime as far as I'm concerned. Ever since I was a teenager, and that was a long time ago, the sultry and sophisticated 'blues' sound of Frank, Dean, Tony, et al have kept me interested in 'real' music, and that's why I have played contemporary and Jazz piano for over 40 years.. the romance that is so delectable in a young persons' life -even if they don't know it at the time- is found - and will last- in Michael's music..thank God there is someone out there with the talent that Michael exhibits. His renditions are first rate by any standard, he brings new life and zip to old classics that the current generation(s) may not have even heard before. And his song "Home' almost brings me to tears every time I hear it.. isn't that something. Canada should get behind Michael as we have here a budding superstar of the magnitude of Celine Dion and even the untouchable Gordon Lightfoot.
Free Music Review: You must have this music if you have LOVE in your heart and soul! Hit: 5 Stars
This is the best of his first 3 CD's. Every cut is outstanding. Every song digs in and resonates deep in the mind, heart and soul. When I was a teenager in high school, my guilty secret was that I prefered listening to Barbra Streisand to listening to the Beach Boys, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Motown and Aretha Franklin and all the other musical geniuses that were busting out and climbing the charts. She had a way with love songs that made me want to sing them to all the boys I had a crush on. Now I listen to Michael and I want to get dressed up with dancing shoes, "baubles, bangles and beads" and dance the night away with my honey buns in a romantic dance club. Some of the reviewers can pick out a stand out song, I can't. The whole CD is so good, so full of wonderful songs and Micheal's incredible interpretations that I cannot say anything but enjoy, enjoy and shake your bootie to Michael Buble :)
Free Music Review: Crooner's Beware! Hit: 5 Stars
Crooner's beware, you have now entered the turf of Michael Buble, and there isn't much you can do to get any better than him. Starting off strong with 'Feeling Good' Michael gets you out of your seat and into his zone. Michael masters both the smooth ways of the Bobby Darrin era with tracks like the aformentioned as well as 'Save the Last Dance for Me' and 'Can't Buy me Love' but it's when he slows things down and lets his heart do the talking that he really shines and brings this album to new heights. On tracks like 'Try a Little Tenderness', 'Song for You' and the beautiful closer 'You and I' Michael's voice is so pure and clear that your drawn into his charm. By far the best track here is the endearing 'Home' which could bring a tear to your eye if your not carfull. Michael shows here that he has what it takes to be king of the crooner's, so all you others beware...you have BIG shoes to fill.
