Free Music Notes for It's TimeFree Music Review: Definitely "Easy Listening"! Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is one of my favorites, for many different reasons. First of all, Michael Bublé has some voice! It's just perfect. He makes it work so well with every one of the songs he sings. Also, every song is so calm and easy to listen to! I can just press play and not have to hit skip once. I love them all! Of course, some of them are more appealing to me than others, but I don't actually dislike any of them. They have this sort of jazzy feel to them, but not like full on jazz. A lot of them sound like they could be from old musicals. Aaaah I love every song on this album!!!! (Which is saying a lot for me)
My favorite songs: "Home", "Save The Last Dance For Me", and "Song For You". I also especially like "Try A Little Tenderness", "You Don't Know Me", "You And I" and "Feeling Good".
Even if you don't buy this album, you should at least find a way to listen to it. It is amazing!
Free Music Review: WOW! Michael Buble has done it again!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Start getting your dancing shoes ready....
Michael makes you want to dance the night away with his brand new second album.
I love the modern remakes of "You & I", Can't Buy Me Love", and "How Sweet It Is". He gives each song something different to the table then the orignal music artists (especially "Can't Buy Me Love" for all you jazz "CATS" out there). Standards like "Save The Last Dance For Me" & I've Got You Under My Skin" are revitalized by Buble. A great duet with Nelly Furtado for the song "Quando, Quando, Quando". Nelly & Michael make a great team (not to mention...A GREAT CANADIAN TEAM). Michael also wrote the track "Home", which I found to be quite pleasant for a newbie songwriter. The lyrics and the music video are both very sweet.
His voice is breathtaking. His image is classy. His music is timeless. Buy this CD Quick. You won't regret it.
Free Music Review: Remember this name: it will be the raising and most promising talent amaong the crooners! Hit: 5 Stars
At last, from those far sixties - when the crooners seemed to be something easy to get even in the most discrete tavern - appears this young artist, who must be in his middle twenties whose charismatic presence has surprised pleasantly the entire world with this sinuous but equally expressive voice and nice melodic timber, filling a visible void in this genre.
To my mind, Bubble has became the true musical revelation this year. He possesses everything a crooner needs to triumph and win.
I just hope through the years, his maturity allows him to keep growing up. The world was orphan and ( why not? let 's say it clearly) even tired of listening so mediocre singers who need avid and desperately the support of the Video Clip and great special effects to promote themselves.
This young gentleman, fortunately does not need any of these devices.
Free Music Review: Playing what I needed to hear Hit: 5 Stars
I guess I should start off by saying a big thank you to Mr. Buble for singing songs I needed to hear. With all the tragedy our country is facing at the moment to play this cd and be taken far away is what I needed and what I yearned for. Beauty, kindness, happiness, compassion, love - those words all come to mind when I think of what this compact disc speaks of. When I turn off CNN or the local news here in Kansas that seem only to be filled with sad stories I turn on my cd player and get the lift I need to face another day.
Music does move one's soul and lift one's spirit and this cd needs to be heard by the world at a time like this. It has given me pause to be thankful for what I have and to pray for so many others that face challenges unheard of in our time right here in our fine country. If the song Home doesn't touch all our collective souls now, nothing Music Review: Buble has great potential Hit: 5 Stars
Michael Buble has a great voice, maybe the best of his generation. No one will ever be as great as Frank Sinatra, but Buble does a great job for the present generation. He does a fantastic job on the Big Band songs, but he is even better with the Bossa Nova songs. "Cuando Cuando Cuando" is his best song, and an otherwise bland Nelly Furtado really shines on this duet. I didn't like "Cuando" when Engelbert did it as an upbeat song 30 years or so ago, but that may be because I don't much like Engelbert. Buble transforms this into a smooth Bossa Nova classic. "The Way You Look Tonight" was a Big Band swing tune by Sinatra that can not be topped, and first hearing Buble's version as a slowed down song was a surprise. But on further hearing, the Bossa Nova arrangement make it a whole new song. I'd like to see an album like "Michael Francis Albert Buble Meets Antonio Carlos Jobim."
