You will absoultely love this CD. It's so refreshing and man can Michael sing. I happen to be in a resturant where they were playing this CD and I had to ask the hostess who it was. She ran over and picked up the CD and showed it to me. She told me that it's one of the best CD's she's ever bought and highly recommened it. I bought the CD and I now do the same...I highly recommend this CD for not only it's refreshing sound, but for the beautiful way Michael sings the soft, romantic sultry songs such as "Home" and "You and I" (oh yeah) in an oh such suductive way, as well as the way he jazzes songs up the swing time music - makes me get up and dance! I can listen to this CD over and over. I most defintely will keep this CD in my "favorites" pile. I can hardly wait for the next CD....or better yet for Michael to come to my town for a concert! Buble's meteoric ride to the top of the music charts is a testament to music and lyrics that evoke emotion and feeling. His take on standards or his own composition contrast with others attempting to cash in on the current popularity of Darin/Martin/Sinatra era songs. It is refreshing to hear a gifted vocalist deliver songs with an honest passion that can't be faked, and to raise the awareness of these meaningful songs to the younger audiences that are hearing them for perhaps the first time.
Mr. Buble, stay the course, your honesty, vocal integrity and talent will surely keep you apart from those others who only look to this style of music as a paycheck.
Those great singers before you must be smiling down knowing that someone like yourself is carrying their love for quality proudly into the future. I say "Bravo Buble" and thank you!

I bought this album after stumbling across Buble guesting on one of the late-night talk shows, where the musical artists are usually not of the genre I prefer...he simply stopped me in my tracks with his incredible voice.
The album is a delight -- well produced and no, he's not a Sinatra imitator. His own personal style shines through the familiar material, and it's a pleasure to relax and listen to really GOOD music being performed by a true artist.
We went to see him in concert a few weeks after buying the album. The show was fantastic; he's more impressive in person than on the recording, if you can imagine that. He has a large fan base of women of all ages...and I can understand that. While he doesn't do 'that' for ME...I am absolutely in awe of the instrument. This young man has a long, bright future ahead of him.

After thoroughly enjoying the DVD/CD release, "Caught in the Act," I also gave this CD a listen to by Buble, the second album of his that I have listened to. I have to give it 5 stars because I am very much impressed with and enamoured by Buble's emergence on the scene. He is a very capable vocalist and has given me a new perspective on what a jazz vocalist should sound like.
In comparing this album to "Caught in the Act," I would say that "Caught in the Act" is a better purchase. A lot of the songs on here are the same arrangements used on "Caught in the Act," except these are the studio takes. I still think this is a great album, but being able to see Buble on the DVD was what made me get into his music. This album is a nice follow-up to "Caught in the Act," and proves once again, that Buble is a great vocalist.
Free Music Review: He dazzled me with his music --- and his way.

I became dazzled by this man and his music after a chance meeting while flying recently.
We made pleasant conversation during the flight, and I made it a point to look him up on the web and then to buy his cds after learning more about him and I am now very thankful I can say I've met him. That chance meeting may well be the kind of story you tell your children about meeting one of the world's greats - and I believe it will be the case in this instance.
He was polite and funny and sincere and you could hear the pride he took in his music when he spoke of this cd, and I now can see he takes his craft very seriously and he has done a masterful job.
It's Time is a tribute to the artistry of a gifted singer and a surrounding cast of producers and musicians and is sure to be a best seller for many years.
