Free Music Notes for Michael BubleFree Music Review: Outstanding debut! Hit: 5 Stars
I purchased this CD after catching the last 30-seconds of a story about Michael Buble' on "Extra." I didn't need to preview the CD, listen to it in the store, read other reviews. The minute I heard his voice I knew that David Foster's latest protegee is destined for great success. How refreshing it is to hear a reworking of these wonderful standards. There are delightful hints of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, but Michael Buble' is unique. His interpretation of George Michael's "Kissing a Fool" is wonderful, and "Moon Dance," "The Way You Look Tonight," and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" are fantastic. He truly soars (pardon the pun) on "Come Fly With Me." The only misstep is "How Do You Mend..." but even that is forgiveable. I can't wait for Michael's next release. I have been playing this CD nonstop at work and at home and am personally responsible for at least three people deciding to purchase the CD for themselves. Spread the word: Michael Buble' is the next big thing!
Free Music Review: out of this world Hit: 5 Stars
thank god for my computer. I can hear Michaels cd all the time until good old canada gets them in. Hoping that will be soon, they say next week.I have to let everyone know that Michael is not only gorgeous,he's alive when he sings,he can make your world rock.Even when you think nothing can help. And to hear the Bee Gees singing backup for Michael on their own song,(well what does that tell you) the Bee Gees don't just let anyone sing their music. Here we have a Vancouver boy, and Paul Anka, David Foster, Bruce Allen, the Bee Gees ect... who also think he,s out of this world.Well I would like to thank Michael for having a great voice and bringing this music back to life. Can't wait to see you in concert again , you are going to have a #1 cd.And us Vancouverites can say we've seen him in concert before anyone in this world. I have followed you around, in concerts, at the PNE, at the movies,on radio, resaurants ect... I guess you can call me a groupy. I hope as soon as everyone hears the cd they will feel the same as me. All the best to Michael Buble

'Enhanced' is an excellent title for this CD. Buble enhances music that cuts across three decades and updates them with a new sound.Michael Buble could be the one who brings back swing and big band and he revives the love song. His voice is clear and fresh. He breathes new life into tunes of yesteryear and even does a better job on many of them compared to the originals. I heard this CD at a friends house, my wife and I love it. This is romantic, lilting music that will inspire you. I would not say that Buble is better than Sinatra, yet there is no comparing Buble's singing talent to anyone else. His rendition of Kissing a Fool was excellent. "For Once in My Life," he sings that with full lung capacity and makes it very snappy. "Come Fly With Me," is really a kick, upbeat and perky. I really like his rendition to "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." This is a tribute to the time when music and America were great. This is going to be a gift I give to many of my friends over the next few months.
Free Music Review: Amazing singer with phenomenal talent Hit: 5 Stars
I first discovered this singer when I was downloading random music from Napster. I listened to his song entitled "Sway" and was flat-out BLOWN AWAY. After listening to his voice for probably only thirty seconds, I finally know what it means to "go weak at the knees." He has a voice that is similar to Frank Sinatra's and when combined with his mildy modern touch on the classic crooner style, Michael Bublé is a vocal prodigy and an essential element to just about anyone's music collection. I especially recommend him to anyone who has a special place in their heart for Frank Sinatra's "Come Fly With Me" and/or Harry Connick Jr.'s "A Wink and a Smile," since Bublé's music sounds somewhat similar to both of these but is also a little more jazzed up (which is a good thing).
In short, Bublé's style is classic enough to appeal to older generations and is modern and catchy enough to attract younger audiences.
I definitely recommend this CD, especially since it is my favorite out of all his CDs.
Free Music Review: I'm forever blowing bubles Hit: 5 Stars
This is the honest to goodness truth. I had never heard of Michael buble's before 10/11/03.I turned my tv on that sallite music station. There was nothing on tv I wanted to watch,so I switched it on the smooth jazz station. And I heard this song "The way you look tonight" I said to myself "who is that?" Its not Sinatra, but it sure sounded good. The next morning I forgot the name of the artist.I tried finding it by the song I heard, but there was several hundred listing for that song. That sunday afternoon I found in the record dept. of a well know store and immediately bought it without giving any thought as to what else was on the CD.That song "the way you look tonight" was enough for me. When I saw the name Paul Anka and David Foster as having something to do with the CD,I knew it had to be good. And I can truly say I was totally blown away to hear such a refreshing voice.I highly recommend this CD to anyone who loves good vocals.
