If you only enjoyed the dancing from the show, you may not enjoy the sound track(obviously). If you enjoy the sound of the mystical era represented by LOTD and found the story line heart-pounding, this CD is a must have! This is definitely the greatest CD in my collection. My 6 year old daughter is constantly begging me to listen to it. The extra tracks at the end (with tapping) help to enliven the memory of the show. This is an awesome cd. The second I went to see the show I just had to buy it. The music makes you want to have the ability to dance as the "Lord" does. The second I turn on the cd and listen to it I get up and dance around my room with wow and astounding wonder as to how it is done. You won't be disappointed if you buy the cd...I sure wasn't. If you are looking for a similar one look at Feet of Flames, it was just as brilliant and heart stoping.Free Music Review: I'd rather give a 4.5 rating...

Everything is just perfect about this cd except for one thing: only 2 of the tracks at the end have the taps included!! Like many other Amazon.com customers reviewing this cd, I wish that there was more tapping included. However, this doesn't change the fact that the music is absolutely phenomenal on its own. It really is an essence of artistic beauty. A must have for Irish music fans or if you own the LOTD VHS or DVD.Free Music Review: Great Music

After seeing Lord of the Dance live in Indianapolis, I had to get the sound track the next day. The haunting, beautiful melodies gave me chills. My favorite track on this album would have to be "Celtic Dream" because that was my favorite dancing sequence, and listening to it, gives me chills. The bonus tracks at the end are well worth the price, because it will always remind you of the power of the show.Free Music Review: better soundtrack than riverdance

I saw 'riverdance' & while i thoroughly enjoyed the show, I agree with the other reviews that the soundtrack was lacking so I took the advice & picked up 'Lord of Dance' soundtrack (without having seen the show) & WOW - fabulous! Definately, upbeat & what you want to hear. There is also some nice songs with a jazz feel to them. Great CD from beginning to end - a real feel good cd.
