Free Music Review: LEAVE HIM ALONE!!
Hit: 5 Stars

To the Chad Defeo poster, you are an IGNORANT FOOL!! Are you a writer for one of these tabloids? How do you know how much plastic surgery MJ has? Do you have a copy of his medical records? NO YOU DON'T!! And where do you get the idea that MJ has a pleasure of "raping little boys?" How could you say something like that? That was rude and uncalled for and you should be arrested for that. It's fine that you like Michael's music, but don't like him as a person, but don't go assuming sh*t when you don't know sh*t. And you said you hate his guts, how do you think he feels about people like you talking trash about him?

Anyways, this is Michael's dark and deepest album and he really showed his true emotions. Every song on Disc 2 is unique in its own way. I'm looking forward to new music by Michael when this "case" is over.

Free Music Review: His second best album.
Hit: 5 Stars

Dangerous beats this album but this is way better than thriller, off the wall, and bad.

Okay this is by far the most artistic he has gotten. Why would people say this is the turning point in his career, and is some sort of flop. It sold over 20 million copies and was the third best selling album of the 90's! His Dangerous album was number one and Shania Twain's Come On Over was number two. Why would people call "Invincible a flop". It sold over 12 million copies and that is great due to the fact it was never promoted.

Anyways, this album has one poor track, its not the way the other reviewers put it.

The only poor track is Little Susie.

Here is a review for each song:

SCREAM: This is when I liked Janet. She took her brothers side and wasn't selfish. She's selfish now and taking advantage of him. I hate her new album Damita Jo. Anyways, the song has a great beat and its make your jaws drop in shock.

THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US: I love this song. The videos are great!

Stranger in Moscow: Best song, i love it. Uplifting

This Time Around: Wow! MJ's mad

Earth Song: a Number one hit that is very touching

D.S: Second best track...Tom Sneddon IS A COLD MAN! He has a vandetta and he should be locked up and killed

Money: Awesome, he does some sort of rap.

Come Together: This lets you know that the beatles catalogue are in the right hands of a genius like michael

You are not alone: a number one hit that makes you cry! never gets boring

Childhood: an incredibly autobiographical song! a must listen

Tabloid Junkie: better than Jam and leave me alone

2 bad- love it

history- great, the remix on the 10 million selling BLOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR is better though

Little Susie: like i said, the worst track

smile-one of his best works ever!@

Free Music Review: FORGET THRILLER!!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

HIStory is one of the best albums of Michael Jackson.
I don't talk about the first CD but the second.
The songs Scream, They don't care about us, Earth song, Stranger in moscow , Money, Tabloid Junkie are AMAZING. The album is very interesting; Michael shares his secrets, his pains, his fears, opens his heart . The songs are far from the too smooth songs of Thriller and off the wall - these two albums are soooo overrated! - If you understand Michael Jackson's genius, you cannot bash HIStory...

Free Music Review: There Was A Better Way To Do This...
Hit: 3 Stars

Michael Jackson set himself up for criticism when he assembled this 2-CD set. He put his legendary classics like "Billie Jean", "Bad", and "Rock With You" on one CD, and put on the second CD songs that indicate a severe style change. Gone are the colorful songs by Quincy Jones and the infectious pop beats by Teddy Riley. Instead, the listener hears an angry, media-bashing, and sometimes paranoid Jackson.

I think Michael should have released the second CD by itself, and waited to release a greatest hits collection instead of the flop "Invinsible" album in 2001. Putting them together leaves too much room for negative comparison.

Though a few songs should have been left off of the album (This Time Around, Money, Childhood, HIStory, Little Suzie), there are several highlights:

SCREAM-Michael's duet with Janet is both funky and meaningful.
THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US-Though accused of Anti-Sematic lyrics, Michael made this song work using a memorable rhythm and chorus.
STRANGER IN MOSCOW-Probably the best song on the CD. Beautiful Ballad
EARTH SONG-Another powerful MJ anthem. The power rock ballad ending is very haunting.
D.S.-This song gained notoriety as a direct attack on Tom Sneddon, Santa Barbara County District Attorney, who is reported to have a personal vendetta against Michael from the 1993 allegations.
COME TOGETHER-Great remake of Beatles classic. Michael works it well.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE-#1 hit for Michael in 1995. Beautiful love song.
TABLOID JUNKIE-I just like this song because of its "Janet-esque" beat (Think of songs from "Rhythm Nation" or "Control")
2BAD-Big Beat Hip-Hop track. However, if you can get your hands on it, the version from "Ghosts" is better.
SMILE-Second best song on the album. I don't know why people dislike this song. It's uplifting. I always smile when I hear it.

Like I said, the second CD may be hit and miss, but I think it would be a lot more popular if it had been released separately.

Free Music Review: Good CD, But A Little Schmaltzy
Hit: 4 Stars

I don't want to talk about the first CD in this set. We all know the hits. It's the second CD that's the real gem. My favorites are Scream, They Don't Care About Us, Stranger In Moscow, Earth Song, You Are Not Alone, and Tabloid Junkie. Come Together is also good, but I hate the Beatles, so I can't get into this one much. Stranger In Moscow is Michael's second-best ballad ever, next to Will You Be There, his best song ever. This is some of his most bizarre music yet, and most of it is paranoid, schizophrenic, and angry. I can see that most of the songs were written in a very hard time of his life, what with the FIRST child molestation accusations. You listen to the amazing music on the first CD, then the paranoid music on the second, and you put them together with the accusations. It's strange to see what has happened to this man so quickly. The downside of the CD is that songs like Childhood and Smile are too sugary and saccharine for me. Another thing that irks me is that he'll release these songs, thinking that they will be successful. We want to hear the amazing Billie Jean, or The Way You Make Me Feel, not some weepy ballad about his childhood or a song that tells you to smile. It's not fun. Even with these missteps, HIStory will not be history with me for a long time.
