Free Music Notes for Michael Jackson 25th Anniversary of Thriller (CD+DVD)Free Music Review: One of the best albums of all time Hit: 5 Stars
I purchased Thriller on vinyl when it originally came out. But this version enhances what is an already great collection of songs. The remixes by the Black Eyed Peas are superb and the additional song (which was considered for the original Thriller album) is one of my favourites. I wish I knew this one, as I would have had this played on my wedding day.
It goes without saying, but Michael Jackson was a true artist and visionary. He was a huge part of my childhood and will be greatly missed, but his music lives on. My 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son, can be found bobbing their heads up and down when I play his music. Maybe he will be entertaining my children in their childhood, as he did mine.
Free Music Review: pure pop perfection Hit: 5 Stars
This album is the biggest selling album of all time for a reason- it is a distillation of practically all the known musical genres and bottled into one easily digestible product. Billie Jean has to be one of the greatest songs of all time, Quincy Jones production can not be touched, the song is a work of art, an aural sculpture and Michael's performance on the Motown's 25th anniversary celebration just hit it out of the park. Unfortunately he never reached the heights again. It would be like given the key to the secret of life what else is there left to do? Michael Jackson really died a long time ago-the white apparition who passed away recently was really just a ghost of what was the King of Pop
Free Music Review: Truly The King Of Pop Hit: 5 Stars
I was always more of a rock type when I was younger, but listened to some Motown. Then there was the Thriller, the perfect blend of rock and pop.
And of course the song writing and musicianship was brilliant. Michael was very smart in what he did during these times, and Eddie playing guitar was suprising and great. He repeated this later on on Dangerous with Slash, another call which may have had some people sctratching their heads, but worked.
Later on many performers emulated what he had done, cross over performances with artist's (Walk This Way comes to mind) and his stage show and moves were blueprints for so many.
He truly was the King Of Pop.
Free Music Review: A Classic Album From A Very Talented Man. Hit: 5 Stars
Ignore the reviews from the bigots and haters. Many are willing to believe that he was guilty of molesting children. They are willing to believe this because he was eccentric. Never once will they consider extortion. They never thought it was strange that the families were willing to accept money for such a tragic event.
As far as Thriller (the original music) is concerned it will forever be a classic. Thriller is just brilliant from beginning to end. Mr. Jackson will be remembered for Thriller and the rest of his musical accomplishments for years to come. Long after his detractors have come and gone.
Rest In Peace Mr, Jackson and God Bless You.
Free Music Review: must own Hit: 5 Stars
who could say anything negative about michael jackson's artwork, dance, music? i can't. the music carries you immediately back to a time, 25 years ago, when michael jackson's music was on top of the world and he carried you with him. Who wasn't inspired to move, some us us pretended that we were dancing. clearer, crisper than the vinyl i bought 25 years ago. the 25th anniversary CD's were an excellent addition. all of us love watching the dvd's of several of the top hits. this was only $12! it's fantastic and, for anybody who is a mj fan, it is well worthwhile adding this to your collection! A+
