Free Music Notes for Band of BrothersFree Music Review: A grand soundtrack for an epic mini series Hit: 5 Stars
I purchased this CD after I had watched the mini series on HBO and thus from my perspective, this CD is the perfect accompaniment to the series. It draws back so many visual cues from the series as I listen to each track go by. The tracks themselves are inspirational even without having seen the series itself. Perhaps it's in this time of our history that in many ways, a series like BoB and it's soundtrack is needed to remind us all of the cost that was paid to live the life that we all currently live.
Free Music Review: Great complement to the series Hit: 5 Stars
Although by a different composer, Band of Brothers reminds me of HBO's new WWII soundtrack, The Pacific. I particularly like the haunting vocal chorus tracks. It's nice that some of the track labels go by their instrument - it makes it easier to remember what each track sounds like.
Free Music Review: Wow-- moving movie music Hit: 5 Stars
I bought my family the series. We love it. Bought the soundtrack because love the sound and feeling it gave you during while watching the show. We love it. Definitely one of those few soundtracks that flow and give feeling to the show. It is a cd that you can listen to and know where in the show the music was playing. I even bought the book because of the show. Just an all around good set (dvd set, soundtrack, book).
Free Music Review: EF Sullivan Hit: 5 Stars
Michael Kamen has wrote and wonderful, moving and very enjoyable score in Band of Brothers. Some of the tracks are rousing and moving whiles others are more somber and reflective. The music reminded me of specific scenes from the series and is something I enjoy listening to over and over again. Like the series, Band of Brothers, the soundtrack will stand the test of time enjoyed and appreciated by future generations.
Free Music Review: I can't stop listening to the film score-- Hit: 5 Stars
I have fallen totally in love with Michael Kamen's score for BoB. Some of my enthusiasm is no doubt due to my being totally absorbed by the film, but most of it is because the music is beautiful and, at least for me, very comforting. I have quite a large CD collection, but since I've had BoB, I've been unwilling (unable?0 to listen to anything else. Above all, the music is lovely throughout all twenty tracks.
