Free Music Notes for Band of Brothers

Free Music Review: Absolutely Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

Apart from the "Band of Brothers" mini-series itself, rarely does something bring me close to tears. The way the instruments blend together make it subtle yet emotional. There really are no songs in which you can believe there is a great battle going on. Instead, the songs portray through music, the soundless emotions going through the men. This CD is definitely worth getting.

Free Music Review: Band Of Brothers Soundtrack
Hit: 5 Stars

Great sound quality. The Band of Brothers miniseries, in my opinion, had five-star performances, photography, story-line, special effects, and music. When you're watching the show, you perceive how the music compliments what you see on the screen, but listening to the CD you can really hear how great each score is.

I highly recommend this CD.

Free Music Review: Soothing sounds
Hit: 5 Stars

The movie Band of Brothers is great, and the music is fabulous. Kamen has written such beautiful music. This CD is very easy to listen to and rather soothing. The vocals of the Title Song include beautiful passages of tenor voices. This CD is definitely on my list for those lazy Sunday afternoons in front of the fireplace with a good book.

Free Music Review: Wow LOVE IT!!!! Thank you Michael Kamen
Hit: 5 Stars

What a masterpiece. Seeing the Miniseries week after week on the edge of my seat. Then reliving every episode every time HBO would show it. If you missed Band of Brothers you should be kicking yourself or try to catch the re-runs. Let us all pray they release the DVD/VIDEO sometime soon. :) Great CD a must have!

Free Music Review: Nixon's walk vs. Dido's Lament
Hit: 5 Stars

In my opinion, Nixons walk is not an original Michael Kamen work. It is far too similar to the Henry Purcell composition Dido's Lament from the opera Dido and Aeneas, composed in 1681. Any one else find this similarity?

Regardless, I really enjoy the music and the series.
