While this is not strictly a "Motown" album (the only two songs done for Motown are the Stevie Wonder ones) Michael is at his best here! The CD displays what the Motown albums lacked- his signature keyboard playing (he even plays guitar on one track) With a small group of artists and a good backup choir this is not to be missed!
For his next album either a Kenny Loggins/ Christopher Cross tribute or a LOVE SONGS thing.

Purchased for my wife and she felt that it didn't come up to his usual level. Lack substance and vocal range. The selected songs varied from his usual type and his voice didn't match well with them. We wish we could return the CD as it does not meet our level of quality music.
