I agree with another reviewer before - it took a few listens, but then this album really catches you, and it does turn out to be the best MSG album in years. Stellar playing from Michael, great playing from the superb band, and Barden sounds fantastic. Every song is melodic without being soft, and hard without being too over the top. Great record - one of my surprises of the year, and one I keep going back to.Free Music Review: This will do very nicely.

I'm not sure what the naysayers are prattling on about but this is an excellent record from Schenker and Barden. No excesses here just plain hard rock as it should be played and in my opinion thankfully devoid of the overblown excesses that plagues the new Whitesnake record. Please, Mr. Coverdale, take a page out of this book for your next record and keep your rock `n roll honest, as it should be.Free Music Review: classic hard rock!

Great cd. If you like the style of the eighties hard rock, this is great!
The band features Neil Murray, Simon Philips, Don Airey, Gary Barden and Shenker, and the songs are really great. Many bands try to do it, sounds like the eighties , but i can't remenber one that really get it like Shenker in this album. Very very good!

this cd shows schenker is good a player he has ever been. he is one of the best all time rock guitarists bar none. the songs track 3 and track four i liked the most. but the whole cd is good. i would like to see his music get airplay in the usa on rock stations. because alot of it would do very well.Free Music Review: Best Thing Michael's done in years

12 great, catchy and memorable tunes that will stick in your head. Gary sings in a lower register but who cares?? It's 25 years later. He couldn't hit the highs anymore in 1983. Great soloing throughout. If I had to complain about anything it'd that Michaels biting tone is a little subdued. Buy it.
