I am a HUGE fan of Mr. Smith's live worship albums, "Worship", "Worship Again", and "A New Hallelujah". With Worthip, I fell in love with it the first time I listened to it, with Worship Again and A New Hallelujah, I had to listen a few times before I fell in love with them, but if I had to be stranded on a deserted Island with my Bible and 1 album on an IPOD and a solar power source, I can honestly tell you that it would be one of these three. I just don't know which one I would choose! They are all that good!
What I like most about Michael W Smith is that he points you in worship towards the Lord without getting in the way. The three albums are my favorite albums of all time and I have listened to at least 1 of the three every week for the past 3+ years.

Sometimes you just buy a CD because you like the artist. This was the case here for me. I've been feeling really lost lately given the world and economy in which we live. I figured I'd give MWS a chance to divert me for a little while. The first time you listen to this CD, you may not be overwhelmed, but give it a chance. Listen to it a few more times , make sure you read the lyrics, and then consider where these kids from Uganda have been and what they've seen and lived through, and well, you'll get it. And then you can really, really get lost in this CD. God works in mysterious ways. I'm glad He let me find this one. Peace.Free Music Review: Music to rest your mind and feed your soul!

I have always admired Mr. Smith's messages throughout the years. I purchased a New Hallelujah at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed by challenges in my life. Listening to this CD reminded me of what is important and calmed my restless spirit. It is a wonderful worship CD! I have since purchased it for friends, who in turn have purchased it for their friends!
The music contained in a New Hallelujah will turn down the noise in your mind, nourish your soul and remind you that help really is on the way!

Up front, I am a Smitty fan. After I hear each new CD, I think, "Wow, this is great, this is the best, it can't get any better." But every CD is just as rich in a new way. You come away feeling, "Wow, this is the best yet. No way Smitty can out due this one." For now, his "A New Hallelujah" is the best. Smitty has a great way of tapping into his heart and coming out with words of praise and thanks to God and encouragement of and to believers. Smitty's songs are our songs to God.
