Free Music Review: Not COMPLETELY disappointed....but....

The first time I heard this CD, I was not impressed. But the more I listen to it, the more I am impressed. Its still not his best album but there are some hidden gems in the mix, mainly Grace, Amazing Grace, and Deep in Love With You. If you're looking to be blown away, listen to Michael W's FIRST Worship Live Album, but if you like Smitty as much as I do, then I absolutely recommend the CD because its good........just not great.Free Music Review: Yawn....

I have worked in radio, video and have been a long time fan of MWS. But I think we have to face the fact that Smitty officially has given up. This is his main style now - and while it might be harder than it seems, this "live worship" genre just seems lazy to me. Most of these songs are little more than working the audience into a lather with the same tired old style and songs.
C'mon Smitty, give us a real album. Enough with your annual delivery of a worship disc! Where's the good stuff?

This album blew me away. Literally. I love Michael's work. Lately Michael has been awesome. His new christmas album "It's a wonderful christmas" blew me away, and that has made me think that Michael is a genius. He truly is. Then he wow's me even more with "A new Hallelujah". He has been really impressive lately. I for one enjoy Michael's worship releases. I love worship music.
This new album lifts me up, and amazes me. This is a good CD to have in your collection. Several songs stick out to me, and wow. I love Michael so much. I can't wait for his next release.

Excellent album. As a radio DJ, I have heard the tracks to this newest album by Michael W. Smith and give it the highest rating of any album yet this year in the Christian music genre. Highly recommended! Michael blends his unique and distinctive style with a worshipful and slightly reminiscent of Hillsong feel.
