This is that vastly underrated singer who has a little girl's speaking voice, but a double-barreled, full-throttled singing voice beyond her years--she came out before Brandy, Monica, and Missy and perhaps was a contemporary of Mariah, Mary J. and Coko while she was in SWV. Fans like me wonder what happened to her, not just 'cause of that dancejam "No More Tears", but 'cause of them slow jams she did--"Something In My Heart", "If", and my favorite: a remake of Enchantment's "Silly Love Song". Well, I guess we all will have to be satisfied with this lone album from a hip-hop great. Michel'le, where are ya?Free Music Review: Amazing Voice? Amazing Songs

Michel'le has a deep, soulful singing voice that really adds effect to her pop/R&B songs. This album is jam-packed with amazing grooves and upbeat dance tracks that contain just as much style as they do substance. The best track here is "No More Lies" which hit #1 in early 1990, I believe.
