Free Music Notes for Middle of Nowhere

Free Music Review: The music is upbeat and has meaning. It's good.
Hit: 5 Stars

I think this record is outstanding. I think this because I gave it a chance. When I first saw Hanson on t.v.,like most people, I thought they were a group that consisted of about eleven girls and that they had to have been produced by some cheesy company like Nickolodean. I thought, "Mmmbob? That can't be a song!" And I left it at that. But then my roomate got their cd. At first I was reluctant to listen to it, being persuaded by all of the Hansons bashing I had seen and heard about. But after I finally gave it a chance, I found it was very good. It consists of diverse (yes diverse! If you actually listen to the cd you will know what I mean), upbeat music and if you really read the lyrics, they have meaning. Granted, the boy's could use some work on their instrumentation, but they are young! They have all the time in the world to practice. Besides, their voices are good and they seem to have their heads on their shoulders. I only hope that the second cd they come out with (that actually consists of new material) is as good as the first. I think if the Hansons bros keep their goals in mind and don't sway onto a crooked road they can become lasting and very respected musicians. I highly recommend this cd!

Free Music Review: I felt really talked about real life. I loved it!
Hit: 5 Stars

I feel that this is a great CD for people of all ages. People shouldn't judge a group on what they look like, or just because their friends don't like them. They sould make their own choice. A person can't rely on a friends opinion on a topic, they should learn to make their own choices. Hanson releases a feeling of life, and how things can effect a real life. Hanson is a real band. They weren't made up, they have always been together, and they proubably always will be because they seem to have a special thing that other groups don't have. My favorite song on the album was MMMBop because it taught me something about how friend ships can be. Sometimes they last, and other times, a lot of times they don't last. Friends come and go like a hair style or a hot clothing style. They don't always stay forever. Hanson was able to let me know that. Another song I like is Weird. It talks about feeling out of place. Many time I have felt that I don't fit in, that I'm weird. And I thought that I was the only one that felt that way. They showed me in this song that others felt that way too, and I wasn't the only one. I give this CD 5***** stars for releasing the real feelings of life and how things really are.

Free Music Review: MMMegan loves MMMiddle Of Nowhere!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

"Middle Of Nowhere" is a great CD!! Hanson is very talented (and cute!) and will all stay in the music biz for a really long time (get used to it!). Don't judge the 3 Hansons just because they "look like girls"; they should be judged for their musical talent (which there is a lot of) and for their attitude for music:).

"Weird" is my favorite song; it's so beautiful and is a song you can really relate to. Who cares if you hate all the other songs (which I don't:)), "Weird" will make up for every other one. "MMMBop" is a bouncey, fun song to dance to. "Man From Milwaukie", "Madline", "Look At You, Baby", "Speechless", and "A Minute Without You" are also very upbeat songs that make you want to dance. "Yearbook" is a very beautiful song that is similer to "Weird"; don't dance to it, you just listen in wonder. "Thinking Of You", I guess, is a pretty dancable song, I think it's OK. "Lucy" is a bit so-so (not one of my favories), but I guess you could dance to it.

So concludes my review: A great debut album by a very great, talented band!

Free Music Review: 8 Years and Still Going Strong
Hit: 5 Stars

When I was 9 years old, I heard MMMBOP for the first time. The song was so infectious that a week later I stole money from my brother to buy "Middle of Nowhere". I listened to them religiously until middle school, when I put Hanson behind me, thinking they were a band of the past. It's funny that now, 8 years after I find myself enjoying the melodies of "Middle of Nowhere" even more than I did back then. Just a few days ago I got back from a Hanson concert in Minneapolis. They played all the fantastic new songs on this cd, but they didn't forget the old ones either. I think it's truly amazing that they grew up with us. They've matured just as their fans have, and in return they're growing to be a stronger band every day from the loyalty of the original screaming girls, who are now the more sensible girls, AND their boyfriends. I think we should all applaud Hanson in coming this far, encourage them to continue to grow and gain all the respect they deserve from people who still can't get over a catchy, over-played song, but most importantly, I think we should take ourselves back in time and not forget where this phenomenon began.

Free Music Review: Finally, real good music!
Hit: 5 Stars

I never liked Hanson before. I Will Come to you annoyed me for some reason and I thought their long hair look was weird. I was very into Backstreet boys and all those typical pop music. Now every song that is put out is crap. I hate R 'n B but I like pop rock. When I found out that Hanson was back I thought I should give them a chance. Some of you people might think that I'm strange because I have never heard of MmmBop in my life! When I listened to the song from a friend's album I thought "Wow! This is really good and catchy!" I listened to the rest of the album and that is when my obsession for Hanson started. Now I love their music!
My Favourites will have to be "Yearbook", "MmmBop", and "I Will Come to You." I love the rest all the same. Those other songs were of course really really good, but come on, you must have your favourites. The songs that I didn't like were "Look At You." That's it. There is only one song that I hate unlike other artist's album who have plenty of terrible songs on their albums.
This Album is a must have if you want to listen to some real music. Definitely for a music fan.
