Don't believe those who will say that Hanson has no talent. One listen to 'Middle of Nowhere' and you'll realize that the guys actually do possess a great deal of it!Musically, this album rocks while not quite fitting into the rock genre. In other words: it kicks!
Proving that they've got true substance in their writing, 'Middle of Nowhere' showcases Hanson embracing such reality subjects as lasting friendship (as witnessed on 'MMMBop'), death (the emotionally-charged 'With You In Your Dreams'), loyalty and devotion ('I Will Come To You'), and recognition of having been betrayed (the confrontational 'Speechless'). They also display their light sides (on the quirky 'Man From Milwaukee' and upbeat 'Look At You'), making it impossible for the listener to keep from smiling.
Fun, danceable music, and well written, thought provoking, and uplifting lyrics... Put this one in your cd player and watch the positive affect!

Hey people! If you like Hanson, you really SHOULD get this cd. This is the one that made them HUGE! It's already gone Multi-Platinum! Now, compare that to boy bands like N'sync and Backstreet Boys. They haven't gone multi-platinum yet and probably NEVER will! This cd is a GREAT cd to listen to when your sad, happy, or hyper! Man from Milwaukee is so cool to listen to when I'm hyper! Mmmbop picks me up when I'm down, and Where's The Love the song to listen to when I'm happy cuz it makes me even more happy! Hehe. Anyway, you have to get this cd. I only got it because I liked mmmbop. It was a VERY good thing I did get it because I love Hanson now! Well, gotta go! BTW, HANSON R NOT GIRLS! INFACT, YOU SHOULD SEE ISAAC'S HAIR NOW! I started listening to "Middle of Nowhere" more and more after having bought their new album "This Time Around" when it first came out. The new album, by the why, is outstanding. Their style on "Middle of Nowhere" isn't too different from their new one. You can hear it in songs like "A Minute Without You" and "Speechless" which are two of my favorites. They are extremely talented with their song writing and instrument playing given how young they were when they started. Just listen to the words in each of their songs on this album and their new one. To write the way they do just blows my mind. I honestly believe that they will be around for a long time. It shouldn't be about how many albums they sell, it should all about the music they contribute. They are 3 beautiful souls who truly deserve every fan they have whether they're 12 or 60.Free Music Review: Hanson is cool

I bought Middle of Nowhere even before I knew much about Hanson. After I listened to it, I realized they were very talented and although I am a guy I like their music. Therefore it's not just girls who like Hanson. After I had listened to the c.d. I realized right away that they truly are very talented. People who fail to recognize that are not very open minded and are in my opinion blind and are addicted to crack. I obviously can't make people like Hanson, but I can tell them my opinion and try to get them to realize that Hanson is not really as bad as people think. If you don't like Hanson then you don't have to come here and write a bad review when you have never listened to Hanson. Keep you ignorant opinions to your selves. It's like this...all you anti-Hanson fans wouldn't know great music if you put the CD in and hit 'play!' That is if you can FIND the play button. Hanson is great. They have displayed so much talent at such a tender age, and from what I hear, these guys only have one way to go...up! So, they aren't Looking For The Love anymore or MMMBopping around, give credit where credit is due! Their songs are clean, tasteful and they don't rely on slang to climb the charts. These guys have really got it going on. They have worked hard to get where they are today and at least they do play their own music...with a few back-up guys. They don't get up and dance like wanna-be dancers. They are just there in your face and what you see is what you get! I'll vote for Hanson any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Bottom line...these guys will make it...they already have!
