Free Music Notes for Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil: Music From And Inspired By The Motion PictureFree Music Review: sensitive, relaxing, what music is all about,a top tenner **** Hit: 5 Stars
i cant stop listening to it. i made tapes so i can have them at all my venues, like my office, car etc.every performer on the disc is outstanding in my mind, including clint and kevin and i didn't even know they could sing, not that they are "sinatra" but in this vein i really enjoyed them, k.d.'s "skylark' and joe williams are super as are all the others. this will cause me to find some stuff by each of the artist's to add to my library.
Free Music Review: Gets better with each listening Hit: 5 Stars
Okay...I didn't like a couple of cuts and didn't record them into my computer, but the ones I did record have proven to be durable over many listenings. Paula Cole's AUTUMN LEAVES is my favorite...I'd never heard it done like this...Alison Kraus is at her all-time best with THIS TIME THE DREAM'S ON ME. I took the CD with me on a recent trip to Savannah. I'm glad I did. Johnny Mercer did well by his hometown. Enjoy!
Free Music Review: A Musical Delight Hit: 5 Stars
After seeing the movie and visiting Savannah, I didn't think the soundtrack could measure up...was I ever wrong! As beautiful as Savannah herself is, the music on this CD is even more so. Not since Sarah McLachlan's "Surfacing" have I listened to a CD so often and so many times in a row. What gorgeous songs and talented vocalists! kd Lang's "Skylark" is destined to become a lifelong favorite.
Free Music Review: Very opposite Of "Midnight at the Oasis" Hit: 5 Stars
This is In My Opinion is One Of Clint's Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil Very In Depth Movies, Filled with Soul, Color , Flavor and all the Little Twist and Turns that a Classic Mystery Should be. Parts Of the Movie are so Well Done you can almost Feel Ones Self Actually in the Movie.
Definitely One of my PICS.
Free Music Review: Great Johnny Mercer Hit: 5 Stars
I'm not a jazz fanatic, but loved this movie and the soundtrack struck me as really great stuff. With a couple of exceptions this is truely a great CD. Clint Eastwood has chosen some really classic tunes here, and the list of performers is perfect. He'd have done better to resist the temptation to sing one himself, but otherwise, there are very few negatives. This CD just makes me feel good. I give this one 5 stars.
