Free Music Review: great album
Hit: 4 Stars

this is simply one of the bosstones best, as the boys from boston deliver aggressive ska-core, with meaningful lyrics to top that...songs like "kinder words", "sad silence" "pictures to prove it" and "stand off" are some of the better songs lyrically...the last two have sick trombone parts as well...more rock oriented than alotta their albums, they still keep the ska on "bronzing the garbage" "a dollar and a dream" "pictures to prove it" and "stand off"..."toxic toast" has a sick piano part

perhaps the heaviest bosstones album, its not for all bosstone fans...those who love "lets face it" might not like this release, and should look at the bosstones first two albums...fans of "dont know how to party" will love this album, they are in the same vein...

the musicianship of the bosstones is always amazing, and dicky barretts gutteral delivery gives the bosstones that unique "ska-core" sound that they essentially invented...its hard to say exactly whats great about this album, its fast paced, w/meaningful lyrics, great horns and great guitars...what more could you want from an album...bosstones rock, go pick this one up

Free Music Review: Ehhh...
Hit: 4 Stars

Some reviewers are right. If you loved Let's Face It you might miss this one completely. I did the first time I heard it...

Question the Answers is an eclectic mix of ska and hardcore punk/metal. Slight funk and Latin influences also are present in the music. If you'd like an example, listen to "Desensitized" on Let's Face It. The majority of songs are like that, only slower and heavier. The heavy guitar and bass sometimes ruins the album's mood, however. Hearing upbeat ska horns against downtuned metal riffing is not the most pleasing listen. Needless to say, the Bosstones are very tight musicians, and as a band, they are very strong--but the music just doesn't 'work'.

Highlights are "Kinder Words," "A Sad Silence," "Hell Of A Hat," "Stand Off," "Toxic Toast," and "Jump Through The Hoops." Note that that's only half the CD. It's only MY opinion, however...The Mighty Mighty Bosstones still rule!

Free Music Review: No Question, One of the Best Bosstone CD's
Hit: 4 Stars

This CD really caught me off guard. After the extremly hard-core Don't Know How To Party CD I was expecting this to be along the same lines. It's actually pretty far from it. The CD has a more rythmical mixture of the many geners they cover. Lots of the songs grow on you with catchy lyrics, but there are a few that could have been better (not many have problems). The sound quality of this CD is crisp and every instrument plays a large part in every song. No question, this is one of the best Bosstone CDs.

Free Music Review: One of the best
Hit: 4 Stars

I found this album some years ago in a used music bin. I only had one album by them at the time. I decided to pick this one up. I will say that i liked it. It has some fun ska tunes on it. "Kinder Words", "Sad silence", "hell of a hat", "pictures to prove it", "365 days", "toxic toast", "bronzing the garbage", and "jump through the hoops" are all rather enjoyable. The bosstones give some good tunes on this album, but not their best effort.

Free Music Review: One of the few disks I can listen to from start to finish
Hit: 4 Stars

Question the Answers is one of the few disks in my collection that I can listen to from start to finish. Maybe less aggressive than some Bosstones albums, but a classic none-the-less. This is a staple in my car at all times. I love how raw Dicky's voice is on this disk and the guitar sounds are among the best ever recorded.
